We had a large lunch event catered by Kalbi Taco Shack and I am so glad that we did. The price was extremely reasonable, the owner was extremely kind and helpful, and worked with us in a helpful, respectful, and timely manner, to provide VERY delicious, professionally presented, consistently boxed and well-made quality rice bowls with fresh ingredients at a very reasonable price. Everyone at our lunch event thought the food was delicious and wants to return to Kalbi Taco Shack on their own in the future. We will definitely consider Kalbi Taco Shack when we need events catered in the future. Everyone was respectful and went above and beyond to work with us for our event. They are a great business to work with and I would highly recommend either for a delicious meal at the Foundry, or for catering any event where you need delicious and beautiful rice bowls for your guests. Thank you Sue for a great lunch that everyone loved! You made our event a success! Our organization will definitely consider purchasing catering from you again for future events.Vegetarian options: SO many delicious veggie options. You will not be disappointed. Veggie options were not an afterthought but well planned and well made.Dietary restrictions: They have vegan and vegetarian options, and gluten free, nut free, everything you would want. This is a restaurant not just with one vegan option, but with several well-thought-out vegan options.... Jack Fruit, Tofu, Squash etc..!!! It was delicious.Parking: The Foundry is very easy to park and walk to Kalbi Taco Shacck!!

This restaurant should be a hidden gem in Saint Louis. Protect at all costs. The food is amazing and the owner is seriously so nice and makes the wait in line totally worth it!

OMG amazing food and amazing staff Can't recommend higher! The mix of Asian and Mexican fusion is perfect! Best rice bowl I've had in ages! Twice!!!

Food proportions to price was disappointing. Looks like bagged salad and pre shredded carrots for the rice bowl. I was expecting higher quality ingredients for an $17 rice bowl.Food tastes good, but value isn’t there.

Cool concept and good vegan and vegetarian options. The food was good but nothing mind blowing

I’m not even going to lie. The food was really good! However, As a first time customer I did not appreciate being told by the food preparer that she would “appreciate it next time if I would indícate the order is to go”. No mam I just spent $40 on some tacos. I would appreciate if you would train your order taker to inquire at the check out if the order is “for here or to go.” It took you all of a minute to package the order up to go.” You ‘re welcome!

The bowl that I ordered was good. I ordered the teriyake beef rice bowl with egg. If you ever visit the City Foundry STL, this shop can be one of the places you must try!

I was really looking forward to an Asian Mexican food. The jack fruit was still in chunks and would have been better shredded. The aioli was pretty good. Located in the foundry either way it’s a great stop.

I had the bowl dish. Chose teriyaki chicken. It was cold, and not that good really... It was super expensive ($18, after $2 egg and taxes)

I wasn't sure what I wanted to eat, so I went to the Foundry, walked around and decided to try this place. Pretty good prices, quick service, and a slightly different take on traditionally Mexican items. I had the sweet and spicy chicken as well as the buffalo zing chicken taco. With a side, in my case chips and salsa, this is a filling amount of food without leaving you a lot of leftovers. Of the two tacos, both were at least fine, but the buffalo zing chicken taco was way more flavorful. I'd get that one again, but probably not the sweet and spicy. I didn't feel like anything was particularly spicy, but my meal was tasty, if a bit messy. Good option if you happen to be at the Foundry

The food was not bad, extremely over priced. The cashier with the long nails and very long eyelashes was SO SO rude— I will never go back to this place. If the bare minimum was the requirement for the job, I understand why she was hired. Completely ruined the experience.
