I've had this place in my bookmarks for a while now. I happened to be not too far away so decided to check it out for lunch. This place is easy to pass up but I'm so glad that I didn't. I got the oyster po-boy sandwich. I upgraded the chips for French fries because it was only right. The fries were well seasoned, fresh and delicious. The po' boy was fantastic and the sauce was as well. This was my first time having fried oysters. I love Seafood so I had to try it. I arrived a few minutes before they closed at 2:00 and they open back up again at 4:30. The decor inside is very on-brand for a seafood spot and there was plenty of seating. I will be back to try the infamous Connecticut lobster roll!

Attentive and friendly staff. We both had different kinds of poor boy sandwiches. The brussel sprouts and fries were tasty.

Loved everything about this place. Food was incredible, service was prompt and kind. Highly recommend.
Peacemaker is THE place to go for seafood in St. Louis. The staff are nice and attentive but allow you time to eat and talk without asking you every other minute how everything is going. They have THE BEST lobster roll I’ve ever had. The shrimp boil comes with shrimp the size of adult lobsters. The menu is not intimidating at all. If I could sum up Peacemaker in a word it would be quality. Top notch. The best

If you're looking for an actual seafood boil, this place is not it! I should've known the boil wasn't going to be good just based off the fact that Old Bay Seasoning was at the table. How does someone season food that's already cooked and expect it to absorb? I was also questioning why they offered Brussel sprouts with the boil... you know, instead of corn! When it was brought to the table, it was not a seafood boil in a bag (as one may expect), but instead brought out on a tray. It was evident the food wasn't cooked together and instead it appeared to be thrown together on the tray. It was also evident that the shrimp, potatoes, and all of it was NOT seasoned. I did my best to "save" my meal by using the Old Bay Seasoning and dousing it in butter, but I could only do so much to make it edible. The shrimp was overcooked and rubber-y. If you're looking for an overcooked, unseasoned, dry seafood "boil" then by all means, go ahead. Despite the tragedy of ruining shrimp and calling the atrocity a "boil," the place was good. The ambiance had beach vibes. Service was good and the waitresses were on top of it. My company had one of the po'boys and reported it was good.

Outstanding po boys. The lobster bisque was watery and very sparing on pieces of lobster meat. Nice cocktails, cool vibe. What's baffling is that they have a reputation for a quality lobster bisque but that was easily the least impressive bisque I've ever had.
