The bottle works is a great place to experience the wide variety of Schlafly’s beers! There’s a huge merch section and great areas to accommodate groups of friends. The outdoor patio is a perfect place for a cold beer on summer day. They also host a ton of different events throughout the year.

Oyster Fest was a complete disaster. Went Friday night and couldn't even get chowder within two hours. This event is much better downtown. I also find it odd that a lot of the negative feedback about the event on FB has mysteriously disappeared. That's pretty shady. I've been a very big supporter of this brewery for several years but after this I'm not so sure.

Came for the oyster fest, left unfed. This event has outgrown itself. The Maplewood location was even worse than downtown. There was only one line for food, which was over an hour long. We never saw an oyster or a shucker and finally just gave up. It was bad last year downtown, but at least you could eventually get something. This was early Saturday afternoon. And the oysters at Whole Foods are cheaper even when they aren’t on the Friday special price.

Big Schlafly fan! But the Oysterfest this year 2024 left me a bit disappointed as the lines/crowds were insane. They should probably offer some sort of ticketed option or VIP upgrade in the future. Awesome event though!

We love this location, have come here for years and will continue to do so. However, four dollars for unseasoned tofu should be a crime! A little seasoning goes a long way.
Waitress was very attentive and the food came out hot, for the price of the Fish & Fries. The condiment container size coleslaw should have been bigger and the fish was tasty and yet small. Overall the experience was good.

We stopped in to grab some food and great beer. The chefs were playing the dolphins and it was a peacock exclusive. They spent easily 10minutes balancing the amount of tvs it could be on so we could see it from our seats. It would have been so easy to just say "we can't." But the effort they went through (and how bad I felt for it!) was so above and beyond, I had to write a review! Kara the GM personally worked on it and she is AMAZING!!
