This store NEVER has online orders ready. Went into today at 1:30. (Not crowed) My order for one sandwich was not complete. The employee pretty much freaked out when I said I was waiting for an online order and said “oh my goes, we had a big one come in it’s not You!!!” O.k. It’a a sandwich shop. Shouldn’t You have orders??
Another employee said “it’s right here!” As she proceeded to freak out. Went to pay. Online app never processes My payment?? Again…why? Had to remind her for My drink.
What is the point of online ordering?? I spent 5 minutes in the store interacting with the employees.

I like Goodcents' sandwiches but this location must've lost a good manager and gained a poor manager because customer service is horrendous now.

The customer service provided by the two young men who made sandwiches for us today was impressive. I've become so callused to poor service in fast food restaurants, but this visit blew me away. The employees at Goodcents have restored my hope that one doesn't have to settle for poor service.
They were kind, attentive, proficient, and demonstrated gratitude. A truly great experience not seen anywhere else in St Louis for years!
Thank you to the owner, manager, and the two employees. Great customer service starts at the top. Keep up the good work!

Very good hometown sandwich chain. I had some coupons and would argue they're better than other nationwide chains in some regards. Great service too.

I would give this zero stars but I can’t. My husband and I genuinely like Good cents and have been to this location before but we feel that we were treated unfairly at our most recent encounter. On 5/21/24 at 7:48 PM my husband walks into this location to order the sandwich. My husband asks the server if they were done for the day and the server said yes that they were done for the day. Mind you this location closes at 8 PM. My husband and I then decide to sit in the car to find somewhere else to go and we see a white nan walk in at 7:52 PM. This customer was then served a sandwich. The sandwich was not a pick up order or premade. This sandwich was made fresh. I walked into this location to confront the staff letting them know that they discriminated against us. The server then states that my husband chose to leave after being told they were done for the day and if he “pressed the issue” he would have been served. I then told the server that the location doesn’t technically close till 8 PM and he should have still been served. As a server it is his job to “press the issue”. He literally told my husband they were done for the day at 7:48 PM and served a white man at 7:52PM. My husband should have been offered a sandwich.

We are highly upset at this.

I stopped in tonight on the way back to St. Luke’s where my fiancé has been in the in the ICU at since Thursday. While ordering I got to chatting just a bit with the two men helping make my sandwich. I felt bad that I was wearing a mask because I know it’s even harder to hear with one on. They were so kind and understanding. They also made sure I knew remembered to grab a drink chips since that was their daily deal (which was soo helpful because with the lack of sleep, I definitely would not have remembered). When at check out, they ended up not only paying for my meal, but also making sure to get a cookie for me as well. I lost it as soon as I got to my car. This meant the absolute world to me and I cannot explain how much I appreciate their kindness during one the worst weeks of my family and I’s lives. The customer service that these two men provided from start to finish was absolutely impeccable. Outside of my own personal experience - the store was clean and organized, my food was wonderful, and the location was very convenient. If you’re in the area and enjoy Mr. Goodcents, I highly recommend stopping in. Their service and food are top tier.

The absolute worst customer service I've had. When I called to ask where my food was (hour and after I placed it) I also asked about the free delivery code on the website because I didn't work when I put it in. I was told by the Manager that she just works at the store and doesn't run the website. I've been eating at this location for many years. I'll never go back.
