We came here for dinner on a Friday night and had a good experience. I had the Patti Smith, and my husband ordered the Fuggedaboudit. He wasn't a huge fan of his sandwich, but mine was tasty. We were seated immediately on the patio and got quick service. Our waitress informed us that their fryer was down, so we wouldn't be able to order any of their fries or fried options but could still order their house chips. Have you ever had a dish at a restaurant and remembered it, like, YEARS later? That is the Taylor Swiss from Layla. The few times I've been to Layla. I've never had anything i didn't like. The red pepper hummus is incredible, but this particular sandwich just...has no business being so good. I will be remembering that first bite years from now.
