Ordered to go right before closing and was late getting there due to my GPS trying to force me into Kroger. Called and they guided me right in. Very nice people. Had the rib dinner and a tips dinner. Both were straight fire. For sides went with baked beans and pot salad. Both were straight fire. Will be back highly recommend.

I ordered 2 rib tip plates just to wait over a hour to not get any food. They knew they were out of tips but just had me sitting there waiting. Calling everybody order but mine. The staff were not friendly. Mugging and being rude when I wanted to understand why was the wait so long. After everyone got their food and left I just asked for a refund. I just don’t appreciate them waisting my time as they did. It was very unprofessional. Seems as if they need a new leader because everybody seemed lost. From the kitchen to the front.

My family and I frequent Gator Jrs a lot. The food is pretty good. The rib tips are great, cooked to perfection, I always get my sauce on the side. The chicken on the stick is out main menu item 85% of the time it’s spot on but the other 15% it can be under seasoned we have just started asking for extra lemon pepper when we order. The fish was pretty good well seasoned. If you are in a hurry don’t be if you are getting take out even if you call your order in 20 minutes later when you arrive they may be just starting to cook I have never dined in, but it’s definitely a nice restaurant to try.

My family loves the chicken on a stick. 90% of the time, it's great, but there's been a few times the seasoning has been off. The rib tips is really good. I'm looking forward to them getting their fish fryer fixed. Because of now, if I want Pantrout, I have to drive all the why to Pearl or Clinton Blvd.

I got chicken on the stick. It was cooked all the way through and the tenders were big.

You walk in and there is a vibe that you walked into the family’s personal kitchen. As we sat at our table people were walking in and being greeted by name or seeing friends and hugging. The meat portions were generous and perfectly cooked. The sauce coverage wasn’t overwhelming. Honestly the spicy chicken on a stick was my favorite. There was a potato and onion slice between each huge chunk of chicken and they were also delicious. The banana pudding tastes homemade and we MIGHT have gotten an extra serving to go after finishing our meal to eat tomorrow ? Don’t sleep on this place!

Very slow service. Dining room very small and way too many tables for the space. Counter clerk yelling numbers out, with a TV blaring a soap opera. Ribs were average, sandwich had large chunks of fat and cartilage. There is room for improvement and opportunity to be a first rate bbq joint, but needs a lot of
