Do yourself a favor. Have the hashbrown casserole. You’ll go back for seconds. The food was delicious. The staff was so welcoming and helpful. We made fast friends with the owner who wished us a blessed day as we exited. Skip the chains and fast food if traveling through Meridian and stop at this gem.

While driving past and through Meridian Mississippi, we decided to stop and eat at a local mom and Pop diner, we are so glad we did. I highly recommend that you stop and support this little diner. It is so good. It’s just like eating home supper cooking.

Had the chicken and rice, Mac n cheese, and butter beans. Not only did it taste amazing but the portions were big enough for two meals. The workers/owners being extremely inviting, helpful, and patient was a plus too.

We were passing through headed back to Georgia and was looking for some good food and to take a break from the road and just so happened this place showed up on google. I read the reviews and we decided it was a must to stop and try it out! We walked in and was welcomed by a friendly staff. This place was clean and the smell of the food was great. We placed our order and I must say the food didn’t disappoint. It was delicious and the gentleman I’m assuming that was the owner told us that there was no need to watch our waist lines there as the portions were enough for two people. He also offered our kids dessert to take with them. This place was a blessing and we will definitely be back if ever in Meridian Ms. 😃

The portions were large but nothing was hot on the plate. A meat 2 sides Corn bread and tea was over $16 with tax. All the food was entirety too salty. I could not finish the plate. Cold food is not good.

Best Southern meal we've had in a long time while traveling!! From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a smile and friendly atmosphere. We got the porkchops and they were sooooo good! Mac n cheese was nothing like what you get at any other restaurant. It was so cheesy and delicious. The greens were good, a little spicy, just the way I like them. I want to know who's grandma was back there cooking the cabbage because it tastes just like my grandma's. That took me back in time. The tea was really good too. Not everyone can make good tea these days but this was good! The hospitality was amazing. The owner walked around conversating with everyone making sure we had what we wanted and the food was good. The Mayor of Meridian and some Council men were dining in as well. It was just overall a great place. I wish them many years of great success. We will definitely stop in again on our travels! A hidden gem!
