Nice little local bar filled with regulars that were happy to meet us. Wednesday night they cook steaks that they all rave about. But it was Monday so we left for dinner.

Stopped in after walking through the town for a beer and ended up staying for 4 lol. Very friendly people and such a cozy place to unwind. To be honest everyone we ran into on our walk was so friendly and welcoming, highly recommend a visit to Natchez Ms.

Just literally a corner bar with really really laid back vibes. Super nice people and friendly local's. Vintage feeling like being on a movie set. Visiting in town and stopped in to watch a football game. Bartender knew many people by first name and on an early Saturday they were allowed to bring food in as they didn't serve food..: now that's something you don't see in most towns... kid you're on Natchez. Stop in and stay a bit...

Stopped in on a recommendation of a friend. Maybe it just depends on who is working. We stopped last night (Saturday) and they had some business but my husband stood at the bar the entire time I was in the bathroom and the bartender completely ignored him. I came out and stood there waiting to get a drink and still no service. The people in the bar seemed very nice. Not sure why you wouldn't welcome someone coming in or at least say...I'll be right with you. She made eye contact with both of us but still didn't come over. We just left and went elsewhere. Shame, we love visiting new places. I guess we'll try again the next time we come through.

Great little bar

Heavy drinks, low key vibes, good people. We had some drinks and had some real good times in this joint. This is a great dive bar in a bit of a late night ghost town when you don't want to pay a cover charge. They know their stuff.

I was on a Music Heritage tour of USA southern states. When we were in Mississippi we called in to this bar in Netchez called The Corner Bar. What a night. Such fun. I left my reading glasses on their bar. I was in New Orleans before I noticed. The owner of the bar had kept them safe for me, and posted them back to me in Nottingham UK. Wouldn’t take a penny for the cost of postage. Sometimes this world glows because of the great people in it.

Mary Beth made our stay perfect with her warm, welcoming personality. We felt like we had all been friends forever. Her little B&B felt like home. We stayed two nights. First night met a nice couple from Germany. Second night, we enjoyed having the place to ourselves. Lovely glass of wine on the beautiful front porch, then relaxing in the house itself. Gorgeously furnished from another era. We are San Diegans and fell in love with Natchez and Mary Beth’s B&B.

This B&B dates from the 19th century and has been continuously owned by the same family. There are 3 bedrooms, each with private bathrooms. It is centrally located with a 3 minute walk to the river bluff and a 10 minute walk to the Under the Hill area. Free off-street parking at the rear of the property. Our room was scrupulously clean and included a lovely cooked breakfast. The host Marybeth Peck is simply lovely and did everything she could to make us feel welcome. p.s. be sure to visit The Corner Bar 20 yards down the street - it is a Cheers-like local bar with great characters.

This was an outstanding place to visit. We loved the setting, the drinks and the atmosphere. The locals were very friendly and had a great sense of humor. It is an absolute highlight of my trip.
