Favorite local restaurant!! The flavors, the vibe, the cocktails! Perfect balance between neighborhood charm and culinary creativity. Soft tempura shrimp, Tamari-honey glazed short rib and Korean fried chicken!!! And a crazy good bread pudding with vanilla ice cream!! Best restaurant of the area by far!!

My boyfriend and I decided to check out Woody’s Roadside in Ocean Springs for a casual dinner and drinks. We started with their $6 margaritas, which were honestly the highlight of the visit. They were flavorful, not watered down at all, and for the price, they’re a great deal. We each had one and would definitely come back just for those.

For dinner, I ordered the teriyaki flank steak and asked for it to be cooked medium rare but unfortunately, it came out medium well. That was disappointing, especially since flank steak can get tough if it’s overcooked. The flavor was just okay, nothing that really stood out. The sides didn’t help much either. The grilled asparagus was mushy and undercooked, and the garlic mashed potatoes were bland and didn’t have much of a garlic flavor. It felt like the sides were an afterthought.

My boyfriend ordered a burger and fries. He said the burger was decent, but nothing memorable — just your average bar-style burger. The fries were fine, not super crispy or seasoned, just kind of there.

The service was friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed, which we appreciated. But overall, the food missed the mark for us. We might return for the margaritas and to try a few appetizers, but we wouldn’t go back for the entrées. If you're looking for good drinks in a chill setting, Woody’s is worth a stop — just don’t expect too much from the food.

My wife and I loved Woody’s so much that we ate there twice in 3 days while in Biloxi. The food was delicious. We both had the fried shrimp and shared the fries and Tumbleweed onions. These are the best onions cooked this way that I have ever had. On the second trip, we had the fried green tomatoes and remoulade sauce. Both were amazing. The fantastic atmosphere and friendly staff rounded out a great dinner experience. We will definitely be back.

The shrimp tacos here are amazing. I would never get a hamburger here because they don't cook them medium rare, even if you ask, even beg. But everything else I had here has been excellent. The wait staff is excellent and communicative. The maitre D peeps do an excellent job. One even got me a table with an ocean view!

The hostess ladies were terrific! Our waiter was ok. The menu looked extensive.
Upon receiving our food, there was an incorrect item brought to one of our party. It happens. The young lady explained it was not a problem to take it back as they would "just serve it to someone else!"?
We all looked at each other and wondered how many tables our food had been on before we received it!! Ewww!?
We live out of town, so you won't miss us not coming back.

significantly better experience than at the Biloxi location. I actually got to enjoy my fries and burger without issue even though I had to take my burger to go. fries were well seasoned and our server was nice.
