I moved to Oxford 6 years ago when I married my Husband, a born & raised Oxfordian. :) I have been to every single restaurant in Oxford. This restaurant is BY FAR the BEST in town. Actually, it is the best place I’ve EVER been to. The closest a restaurant has been to being this amazing is Flight in Memphis, TN. It is very similar in many respects. I love the location, building, decor, ambiance, menu, staff…literally everything! I absolutely loved the Wedge Salad, Cheese Platter, and Cucumber Mint ( ? ) or maybe it was the Lemon Drop ( ? ) Julep signature drink. I can’t remember, I just know it was perfection ! So light & refreshing & cool. I have never found anything close to replicating it. :( Upon discovering this gem, I decided to try it that very same evening, and afterwards, my Husband and I ( NO EXAGGERATION) used to have dinner & drinks here 2-4 times per week, every week, for roughly a year until it closed for remodel. Once I heard that the plan was a rooftop bar, I knew that addition would be just the right thing to take this place from 5 Stars to 10 Stars. Since the day it closed for remodeling, I have been waiting patiently until I can go to the rooftop bar on summer nights & drink my favorite drink in this world again while having a romantic date night with my Husband. I don’t regret a penny of the roughly $1,000 to $1,200 a week for a solid year that I spent here. The staff was really just excellent in every aspect of service. The food was always amazing. I have never seen any other restaurant that had this level of excellence in every category. The staff was professional, elegant, knowledgeable and yet somehow simultaneously down to Earth. Please hurry and reopen. P. S. I’m absolutely tickled to pieces reading the responses from the Owner to the “ drunk group “ and their reviews. I’m happy to see an Owner who respects their staff, and is willing to put drunk & belligerent Karen’s in their rightful places. The Applebees comment had me in tears! :)

Absolutely awful service. I have never had such awful risotto. My 6 oz steak was actually more so 2 oz or less. My brothers medium rare steak came out well done. Took 40 minutes to get our drinks and "appetizers" came out AFTER our meal. Manager blew us off completely when we tried to fix our meals

While the food and service were 5 star, the wine list needs to be upgraded. There are minimal options for the varietals they offer. FYI - the house Pinot noir is Barefoot.

Fantastic steak and thin cut fries.

I don’t understand why this place isn’t more highly rated. I had dinner at the bar and was very satisfied with everything. I had the rib eye, which was perfectly cooked, as well as the shoestring potatoes and salad. The wine list was ok, and the service was excellent. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this restaurant.

Small selection but the food is FANTASTIC and different from anywhere else in Oxford. Especially their appetizers. Glad they're about to reopen!

I stopped into this little jewel of a restaurant by accident. I was walking around the Town Square and was heading to my truck to leave when I stopped in just for a quick look at the menu. I am sooo glad I did. I love that they had several drink flight options as well as food flights lol I plan on returning to bring my husband.

Went in on a whim, was absolutely astounded with the quality of steak and drinks. Jackson's bar tending is through the roof

SO unfortunate to have the experience here we did. Came here for an anniversary dinner- Wine flight came, there was still finger prints AND lip prints on the glasses. The meat and cheese plate looked pitiful. Out of the 4 options on their menu (kitchen understaffed supposedly) We ordered the sea food flight and steak flight. Sea food flight was alright at best, but the steak flight tasted like it had been drenched in salt. Almost burned to eat by the end of it. $130 later; there's not enough wine in this place to bring us back.

Our server, Marissa was excellent! She was very attentive, answered all of our questions and made sure we were taken care of. Her recommendations had lived up to the expectations so that made dinner enjoyable and a breeze. Highly recommend the seafood flight, I really enjoyed the panko crusted sea bass. Will definitely come back again!

Please don’t give this guy business. He treats his employees and his customers poorly. His response to reviews says everything about his character. Clint needs a lesson in hospitality.
