I love dining at Pelican Cove , the atmosphere reminds me of dining in New Orleans and New Orleans is one of my favorite vacation spots. The staff is amazing and Chef Richard always makes sure you’re enjoying the food , the music and the drinks. It’s my favorite spot to wine and dine. The live band is pretty amazing too! I always tell my family and friends to check it out it’s like no other restaurant in Mississippi!

The waitress go get the owner an his wife ab I expressed as to the problem he asked what can he do about it, mind u his wife prances around the whole time an saw an Berber asked us how we’re did we need anything an knowing that we were there all that time!!! Then had the nerve to walk off with an attitude cause their service sucks an the food was garbage!!!!

This place seems like it would be a ton of fun in the summer! It's right on the water and the sunset was beautiful from here. The prices were reasonable and the staff was so nice! There was also really good live music, a country singer with his guitar. We definitely recommend this place.

One of the best Live music venues in the area. Beautiful waterside setting, overlooking the rez. Truly tasty food, good drinks, always friendly staff, unmatched views!

There were only 4-5 people working and it was semi slow and the manager assumed that I was helped because I had a cup of water and when I got that cup from One server she never came back. The outside bar, oh God and I'm sure that place has not been cleaned and inspected in months. It needs thorough cleaning ASAP, like 7 months ago. When food arrived it was cooked in old grease, had the catfish basket, the color was soooo dark I was like what is this, I mean it was not like it use to be. The Service has gone completely out The Door, JUST Poor all the way around. It's Not Pelican Cove, it's Pelican Gone!

I’ve frequently visited this restaurant and the experience has always been okay. I honestly go for atmosphere and view of water. They also have live bands on certain days. The service yesterday sucked as I sat for over 10 minutes waiting for server to return with water and take my order. I finally went in restaurant (I was sitting at outside bar) to speak with manager and the server was eating. She apologized and stated she had asked another server to take care of me. The manager took my order etc. It was not a good experience but the server was very apologetic so I let it slide. I wasn’t given a discount or anything which was okay but generally managers do something!!! I had the blackened shrimp and fries. The fries were not hot ? not sure what happened! I was very hungry and didn’t feel like waiting longer so just ate them.I left on boat and came back at night. The view is even nicer. They have some very nice Halloween decor inside and out! Actually it’s well put together and puts you in the holiday spirit!!!I was told they are short staffed which is not the customers problem. If you can’t run restaurant efficiently then don’t open. Customers don’t need to hear excuses. We expect excellent service if open!I recommend visiting but not sure how service will be…. But the same server did take our drive order while on boat. That also took longer than usually! She seemed to but a nice person but maybe having an off day!

My daughter & I enjoyed listening to the talented band, Patchwork, yesterday. We arrived at a busy time around 3 to eat out on the deck while enjoying a nice view of the water. The gator bites need to be changed or taken off the menu. They tasted very sour with a vinegary aftertaste, smelled super fishy, & were very chewy. We brought it to our waitress’s attention & couldn’t eat them. We’ve eaten gator bites several times at other locations. Needless to say, the waitress didn’t offer to replace them or take them off the ticket. Even though we had fun & the catfish was excellent, I’m not sure we’ll be returning.

This should be an awesome restaurant on the rez. But, it was a smelly bar with few people. We should have noticed the smell and left—our fault. The Caesar’s salad was missing Caesar. A bit of lettuce. $8, and then a bit of fish, $8. My chicken and dumplings was a can of cream chicken with a tablespoon of salt and blocks of bread dough. We spent $30 and went straight to Aplos and ordered a supreme pizza, awesome, to get the taste out of our mouths. Pelican Cove is a perfect location with lousy food. Probably great for a bar only-what a waste.

Came in shortly after they opened. Our waitress only had our table. Service was terrible, food took way to long considering we were one of three tables being served.Good atmosphere terrible service

Frozen strawberry lemonade was awesome! Pink pelican was trash and my waitress Zip Ty wouldn’t remove it off my ticket after I expressed my dissatisfaction. I wish they would consider having more African American live bands (they have one here and there). The menu needs to be completely revamped! As for as ambience I enjoy sitting on the patio, having a frozen cocktail, & enjoying the company of my friends!!!!

Haven’t been in years and decided to stop by while in town. They have a live band on the patio and if you have a boat you can dock the boat and listen to the band. Which is nice during the summer months. The inside can use a little a care. Not for sure if the air was not working and flooring could use some cleaning. As far as the food, I feel like the presentation could be a lot better. I had the Mahi tacos (pictured) which could use a lot more flavor and not for sure what the sour cream that was given was for. Not for sure if the soda machine was out or what was going on but that was an issue. But overall nice spot to hang out at and have drinks on the patio.

Pelican Cove is my favorite Monday spot. It’s on the reservoir where you can eat and drink next to the peaceful water and watch the boats. The food is great. Their seafood pasta was better than expected had a nice flavor and ample amount of substance. They have shrimp wraps which are also pretty good. The staff and management are always nice and catering. Four dollar margarita Monday rocks. The mango is the best. Thanks

I visited this place with a few of my friends I ordered a strawberry daiquiri and the crab claws they were on the appetizer menu I thought they would be big but instead they were a lot of little claws for _19.99 and they had a funny taste not good terrible so I asked the waitress could I get something else and she went and got the manager Caleb and she took the plate back to the kitchen he came to the table and said I was the only person ever said they were nasty they serve them all the time and I couldn't order anything else and I had to pay for them and he would go back to the kitchen to get them he was very rude didn't even try to accommodate me I spent $30 and so disappointed .we will never go back there again .this happened on 07/29/23
