Dolce has been my home away from home for a year now all because I walked in and had the best sandwich of my life (the brie and prosciutto) and simply couldn’t imagine going anywhere else for a grilled cheese again. If you’re looking for a local small business to support but also want great food or coffee and a unique space to hangout, Dolce is definitely what you’re looking for!!

Dolce is dangerously good. Like, “oops I blacked out and bought three desserts” good. The cheesecake is perfect, and there’s such a large selection of gelato (#bringbacksaltedcaramel). I don’t even like sweets that much and somehow I keep ending up here. Also, if you see a guy running around like he’s in five places at once — that’s Robbie the boss man. Legend says he doesn’t sleep, just powers down for 30 mins like a Roomba. Extremely helpful, staff is always on point, and one of the best places in stark to settle down to do homework and actually enjoy studying.
Anyway, 10/10 recommend if you want to treat yourself or accidentally eat dessert for dinner. No judgment here.

The coffee is top-notch -- smooth, rich, and clearly made with care. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better! Definitely a new favorite. Highly recommend if you're in the area and looking for quality coffee and good vibes.

Bagel was rock-hard stale. Gelato was good, atmosphere was good, people were nice.
I’ll be as honest as I can be. Starkville is so lucky to have a place like Dolce, and I want it to succeed and stay for years to come. But the staff is ALWAYS DROWNING. There’s no excuse for making customers wait 30 minutes for a bagel other than being short staffed. We love the food and want to support small businesses, but there is always an insane amount of time to wait— even if it’s called in way ahead of time. Hopefully the owners will see it’s a huge issue and something can be done.

Advertised as a gelato shop but service subpar ice cream. The gal that was servicing the ice cream was sick and didn't wear any protective layers ie mask or gloves. Very limited seating options.

We stopped by after my wife finished the Starkville half marathon and the young lady working behind the counter (by herself) couldn’t have been any sweeter!! She got my wife her drink crazy fast and wished us well. The menu looked like it had some great food options too so it wouldn’t hurt my feelings to grab something to eat here if we’re ever back in town.
