We stopped here on the way back from NOLA. It did not disappoint. This was food like my Granny used to make. The ladies working were very nice. I would definitely stop here again. Come for the food, stay for the conversation. This is a true southern comfort food gathering place.

It’s a little local dive. I requested the daily specials which was served cafeteria style. The food was plentiful and tasty, but cold.My friend ordered a hamburger. It was cooked to order.The staff was nice. I passed a Cracker Barrel to support a local restaurant. I would do it again.The sign was not visible from the highway so I did a few u-turns before finding it.

YES! This is the place for lunch! On a road trip through Vicksburg, had seen this place recommended. Not much to look at on the outside but the full parking lot was a good indication. It was the BEST decision! Husband had the daily lunch, loved every bite and said the unsweetened tea was really great. I ordered a shrimp po-boy with fries. Another big hit. Friendly service, too. Seemed like most of the customers knew each other which made for nice atmosphere. Get there early as the daily specials sell out quickly!
