(Susan): 5 stars can't top my experience! I stopped to pick up a pre-ordered (scrumptious sour cream/raisin) pie on Wed before Thanksgiving. On Fri I discovered my pocketbook must have been stolen, as I had not locked the car when I made two other stops on Wed, using my handheld credit card to make purchases.I was heartsick: my checkbook was now lost, along with my cell phone and numerous other personal items. I reported the theft to the police, but didn't have much hope of a successful return.About 7:30 pm Sun night there was a knock at our front door. To my amazement, it was the owner of the Red Rooster, returning my pocketbook after his very busy cleaning chores and prep for their next onslaught of customers!His comment to my husband was "her phone is in it also." He and his wife had searched inside, found the checkbook with our address on it, and returned it with a beautiful smile.Yes, their service is OUTSTANDING and their food is also MARVELOUS, along with the VERY Warm atmosphere!!!

When my meal first came out, the hashbrowns were under and my omelet was runny inside. Sent it back, which I rarely do. Cook must have taken offense as everything was over done this time. Server acted like I was the problem and never once apologized.

My friends and I truly enjoyed a wonderful Breakfast here. Our waitress was super nice, and very attentive.The food was hot and fresh. I had the Spanish omelette with cheddar cheese and green chili served with crispy hash browns and wheat toast...YUM! The other breakfast dishes at our table were, The Country Fried Steak and French toast. There was also some amazing homemade jelly on the table too. Before we left I purchased a jar of Pineapple Guava Orange jelly.?
