Stopped in here after seeing it was open late the night before. I love the atmosphere to sit and make calls and get work done while out of town. Delicious pastries, excellent coffee and amazing friendly staff. Easy to get lost in writing while friendly folks come and go through their day.

i've left maybe 4 reviews in my life and i felt compelled to write one for this place. i showed up, ordered a coffee and food. The coffee was a 16oz cup and about half of it was foam. Super disappointing. The cashier then handed me a biscuit sandwich that was rock hard and cold. She then told me to "go microwave it myself" after i paid. THEN the screen had tipping options of 20,30,40 and 50%. I couldn't believe i was offered to tip 50% on a 15 dollar order where i had to go microwave my own food to warm it up! I don't mind, i just thought it was a bit much to tell me to go do that and then ask me to potentially tip 50%. the sandwich was wet after i microwaved it and i took one bite then threw it away. kind of a bummer, definitely the worst experience i've had here in Missoula. I didn't even drink the coffee because by the time i finished microwaving my sandwich it was cold. disappointing experience and i hope that noone else has to go through that. i wish they would warm your food up not in a microwave.

My sister, son and I walked over here at 5:30am and were so thankful this place opens so early! We bought pastries, a few drinks and a vegan oat bar. The vibe is cozy, the service was friendly. Can’t ask for more!

You would think they would have a second decaf grinder just in case one went bad. We went there looking forward to the experience but could only have decaf coffee. Their decaf coffee bean grinder was

Morning coffee as I'm getting to the far end of the central time zone. It's certainly time to find a spot to connect to wifi so that I can work this morning. Thankfully, Break is open early (5:30 am!) and so here we are.The coffee was excellent. The cinnamon roll was very sweet but still delicious. And the seating was comfortable.Four hours of coffee and wifi later, it's time to move on to the next stop.Parking: Street parking is metered. Check the signage!

I've had great experiences the few times I've been here. When it's busy, you can still have a conversation with all the background chatter, which is nice.

Three years ago it was the best coffee in town. Two years ago on a cold snowy afternoon I stopped for coffee and sustenance from sugar. Bitter coffee, horrible, nasty. when I asked for a refund I was told "NO".This year, one month ago, I purchased a 12 oz drip. Brown water is all it was. Today, I foolishly thought, I would purchase an americano, surely that would be better. NO, again brown water. I watched as he poured the reusable cup full with hot water and added one espresso shot. Brown water. I will not being going back.

Terrible service and condescending attitude - in my experience from female barrista. Very few vegetarian options with protein.
