Small local place came highly recommended and they were right. Good food with lots of flavor. The gravy and biscuits were delicious and definitely get a side of bacon. Small place so there might be a wait but it's worth it.

We stopped in for a quick breakfast and this place had great reviews and we were not disappointed! It's small but wow they are quick . You order at the counter and we got our food before our coffees hit the table.. all the food was great but I think the banana bread French toast wins ! Has a few tables outside to eat as well. It's an extra bonus when we realized their cups are eco friendly! The lid and cup are compostable, and the sleeve is recyclable. A great place, great environment, great food, and great attitude towards their customers and the Earth! Would definitely recommend to try this place out!

Small hole in the wall-ish place with a limited but very good menu, staff was nice and they even had jazz to set the atmosphere.

This little hole in the wall breakfast joint has a perfect blend of traditional and weird foods! Especially the Banana bread French Toast!!

If you want an incredible breakfast in Missoula you need to come here! The corned beef hash specifically is amazing and their scones are some of the best I've ever had. The only downside is that seating is almost always packed so assume you're going to have to take it to go. Prices are great too! Seriously one of the best breakfast places anywhere.

We stopped by Missoula on our way to the Glaciers NP because we wanted to grab breakfast and the first two locations google has recommended were closed on mondays. The third result was Hob Nob and to say that we were very glad to have come here instead would be an understatement. I cannot begin to tell you how nice the staff was and how delicious each and every dish was. The homemade sourdough bread toasted with butter was the best I’ve ever had and the French toast with the tart fruit compote was absolutely scrumptious. The veggie omelet came with a side of sour cream and fresh salsa which was refreshing. Our coffees were also very well made. The seating is limited so there may be some wait time but it is absolutely worth it. I’m sad that I live miles away from here but I will make sure to take a detour to stop by again next time I’m in MT.

We stopped here for brunch on a Sunday morning. I got the veggie burrito with bacon added, my partner got the scramble with sourdough toast. Both meals were absolutely amazing. Every ingredient tasted fresh and was cooked perfectly. The sourdough was the best I've ever tasted. The staff were friendly and laid back. The young man who took our order switched it from take out to dine in when a table opened up while we were waiting with no hassle. The whole vibe of this cafe was positive. We'll definitely be back every time we visit Missoula.

This adorable little cafe was a highlight of our time in Montana. Melissa was an absolute sweetheart and made us feel at home. Yes, there will be a line and barely any seating. It's like that for good reason. The homemade sausage patty is a generous portion and delicious. The fennel shines through. The sourdough pancakes with blueberries were sublime, and the berry compote that came with our French toast was bright and tart, not too sweet. And the cost of our meal? Right around $27+tip for two people. Incredible.

Has a great Cobb salad. The chicken was grilled perfectly and the blue cheeses dressing hit the spot. Didn't stop there, tho. I couldn't resist the apricot scone and a latte. Simply delicious. Thanks

We were 2 days in Missoula and wanting to try local establishments. Busy with limited seating, but we loved the food. My wife had French toast and I had the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich with a side of hash browns which were home fries. We enjoyed the experience and highly recommend to all. Many thanks!Basics Breakfast

Stopped in for breakfast, had the Basic plus bacon, my wife had the Veggie Browns and we both had coffee. Everything was delicious and the helpings were plentiful. We both had the sour dough toast, also excellent. Service was quick and friendly. Looks like they are operating pretty lean, hope they survive!

Read reviews and was looking for a great place in a hometown atmosphere. Couldn’t have made a better choice. Good and staff were both very accommodating. Searing is limited but worth any wait. Highly recommend for lunch or breakfast.
