Food: tasty, well prepared, and fairly portioned for the price. Ymmv depending on what you are accustomed to. Service: The older gentleman was attentive and friendly, but did forget to make one of my items (their special root beer float, I would have liked to try it!). However, the younger proprietor did offer to make me one for free as we left, but I didn't feel right taking that, so declined. Ambience: Casual and inviting, with comfortable booths and open spaces that let in plenty of natural light. Bright and inviting. Food was good, service was mixed, but a nice place to eat in the area with a welcoming, bright eating environment and friendly staff.

Neat, old-fashioned soda fountain place. The phosphate sodas are great, as are the shakes and food. Friendly service. My son, who hates eating out, keeps asking when we’ll be able to return. Will definitely go back.

Nice atmosphere in this retro soda fountain restaurant. The menu is varied and there are lots of fun fountain drinks. We had a Wagyu burger and a veggie burger with sweet potato fries and onion rings. The Wagyu was very tasty. Nice sized patty and well cooked. They did not have lettuce or tomato, but the taste was good. Veggie burger was OK, not great. The onion rings were perfect. Not oily. The owner/server was kind of cold and unfriendly, but we still enjoyed the meal.

Good was good, although I had major indigestion all afternoon after eating here, which is very uncommon for me. I think maybe the wagyu beef burger was too greasy or something, although it did taste great.

Loved this old school diner feel and it perfectly located in this cute little town. I decided to enjoy a nice burger and shake which kept me full for the whole day.

We eat here almost every time we drive between Anaconda and Missoula. The food is great and the staff is always friendly, especially Brian.

Cute little hometown diner with amazing burgers - seasoned well and thick cut bacon. Delicious crispy fries and onion rings. Fantastic stop when passing through.

Please and thank you, a little old school never gets old, we had wagyu burgers, oh my, these were awesome and also had a custom huckleberry crème soda which was really good. I highly recommend this for a Sunday afternoon, go early as it’s gets crowded. We will be back.

We stopped to get some lunch after going to the sapphire mine . Not too crowded. Was seated fairly fast. The older bearded gentleman was rude, and had an attitude like he really didn't want to be there . Young kid acting as a server had no clue what he was doing . Obviously this place is mismanaged. On a surprising note, the food actually tasted good . Timeliness of the food reaching our table from the time it was ordered was a little long, but OK. It is a smaller community. Food is definitely overpriced, but when you are in the middle of nowhere you don't have much choice. I would not recommend this place unless you're willing to pay an extra 5 to 6 dollars for a burger that's not worth it . The least they could do is give you about three times as many fries to help offset the extra cost of the food.
