“We came for dinner on a Tuesday night and were delighted by the location, ambiance and food. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The menu is a little unconventional in that they have a board that lists all the fresh seafood, priced by kgs. Being from the states we aren’t too familiar with that metric. The waiter will then describe to you how each fish type can be prepared and give recommendations. I personally don’t eat a lot of seafood but the waiter had many pasta options for me to choose from.The view was beautiful! Really felt like I was on vacation at this place.“

“Great place for sports fans to hang out. Lots of TVs and a big screen to watch on. We were here last week watching the NFL playoffs and ordered Food and Drinks,Owner approached us and asked how everything was, we said it was good, next thing we know a brand new order of onion rings came to our table and the Owner explained the breading on the onion rings we're to his standards or expectations and gave us a new order and chatted with us for a few minutes. Wait staff was very friendly and on point. Overall a wonderful experience! Will definitely be back!“

“Nash's is the place to go when on the island for good food, great service, friendly people and all your sports needs. Nash himself makes his place where you can spend the day just having fun with the plunge pool or shooting pool at the tables and if the heat is an issue enjoy the air conditioned rooms. Nash has created one of the best places in Isla Mujeres.“

“This small little burger joint was just what I was looking for. A homemade vegan burger on a charcoal activated bun with lettuce and tomatoes. I asked for sautéed mushrooms as well. The French fries were amazing and crispy. They have a tiny indoor area with air conditioning as well as a rooftop seating area.“

The real draw is the cave experience. Located on a street next to a couple walk up food shops, plain metal doors, but once you enter the experience begins. We have paid to tour different caves...this being a restaurant it is all lit and decorated. After dinner we walked through the whole restaurant. Amazing Caverns.“

“The food was very delicious! The owner was very friendly and great to talk to. The best ceviche we've had in Mexico and the chicken and fish tacos were also well seasoned and the best we've had on our trip. Coca Cola was ice cold and the michelada was also great.

“This is old Mexico at its best, thriving like a shining bastion of fun in the midst of rope swing bars and overdone bohemian Tulum decor. A live band is always keeping the party lively with killer salsa or jarocho tunes, and the open air wrap-around patio is all character and good vibes. Even the resort-style cocktail staples were all made surprisingly well for this type of bar, and the staff was all smiles and extremely helpful. In our effort to keep it fresh every night we'd walk past and hear the good times we were missing out on, and by the end of the trip after visiting many of its neighbors we knew that this was indeed THE spot to be when partying on Isla's main strip. “Have been coming to the Burro for years and it’s always such an awesome place. Almost every time I’ve been there is live music or some entertainment. We took the entire family recently and everyone had a good time and really also enjoyed the food. The fried chicken sandwiches they ordered looked as good as they tasted, at least that’s what they said, wouldn’t know because they didn’t share. Place expands every time we’re there and we will be back.“

Miguel danced with us and gave us sharpies to write our names on the walls. He dedicated a song named after me on his smart tv while we played billiards and pool! Miguel cared about us more than the business we could give as he covered for us when we ran out of pesos. Miguel. “My wife and I have been to Isla Mujeres and Cancun many times over the past 35 years and have eaten some of what we consider the best food anywhere. That brings me to yesterday (Halloween) and this review. We ate at Amigos on Hidalgo and in my opinion I had the best fresh grouper filet I think I’ve ever eaten. My wife had the suiza enchiladas (chicken) and her comments were the same as mine. This is now my go to for fresh fish whenever we’re on the island. Thanks to Map Chicks for recommending this place. We’ve probably walked by this establishment a hundred times over the years and never stopped in which I now regret because we’ve been missing some excellent food and service.“

“IXI beach is very well located on the north beach of Isla Mujeres. The environment is beautiful, clean and convenient for getting to the island.The place is in front of a very quiet beach where you spent a little more than 2 hours enjoying the sea.“

“This a great place to come if you want to hang out at the beach. Carla was a great bar tender as well as the guy that attends the chairs and umbrellas. They charge $25 US or $400 pesos for chairs and umbrellas, but definitely worth it. Make sure to visit on your trip. Also the massages are worth it…ask for Barbie!“

This is an integral part of many package tours and the location is unique, even if the quality of the food cannot keep up with the top location, we are spoiled and perhaps used to better things, but the food is authentic and good, not star cuisine but at a good level. “We did not partake of the beach club itself, but had a lovely dinner on the beach.

Beautiful beachfront dining with an upscale menu which included plenty of options to satisfy all members of our party, including vegetarians.

The staff was beyond accommodating and offered for us to sit under the palapa in the bar area where it was cooler. We enjoyed cocktails until we took sunset pictures before our delicious family dinner.

The fire performance on the beach during dinner was a wonderful surprise which we all enjoyed!

“A nice place to eat, the food is well served, very good seasoning. Average consumption prices per person is 400. The only thing we didn't like was that they automatically wanted to charge a 20% tip. In the end they respected paying what we offered“

“My friend and I decided to dine here for the 1st time. The staff immediately attended to us pulled out our chairs and made us feel very welcome. I ordered a bottle of Corona but I was given a can. I explained that I don't like cans of beer and I will take a mineral water instead. One of the staff, or it may have been the manager asked if I would still like a bottle of corona I said yes and he went down the street and came back with a bottle of Corona for me. There are so many dishes to choose from on the menu I couldn't decide what to have so I opened the reviews to take a look at pictures and recommendations. We saw the reviews were not great so we decided to just play it safe and order chicken wings and a portion of fries to share from the appetizer menu and if we were still hungry we would eat somewhere else. The food arrived and it was DELICIOUS ?The wings were crispy and tasty and the fries were good too so we decided to order a main course which was the meat sharing platter. It was HUGE and phenomenal. The steak was tender the chicken and pork were cooked perfectly the chirozo was one of the best I've tasted and the vegetables were so delicious. It was way too much to finish after our starter so they boxed it up for us putting the meats and vegetables all in different sections of the box. This restaurant went above and beyond and the food way exceeded my expectations.I live on the island and will definitely be returning often.“
