Xcatik Restaurant in the hotel zone has been serving delicious Yucatecan Mexican food for almost 10 years. The friendly service and stunning sunset views create a great atmosphere. The garlic octopus quesadillas and beef tzik panuchos were delicious, as was the mahi mahi fillet with shrimp in tamarind sauce. Don't miss the octopus zarandeado and pineapple stuffed with shrimp. Try the kiwi paradise, strawberry splash, or passion fruit and soursop water. The artisanal coconut ice cream is a must. With a saxophonist on select days and a Maya show weekly, the experience is complete. Open daily from 12 pm to 10 pm, the average cost is 600 pesos per person, worth it for the fresh fish and quality dishes.
