Probably our favorite place we visited! We came back 3 times- the first time we came for dinner and our atv broke down as we were leaving. They were so kind and did their best to help us fix it. Best enchiladas verde i've had... service was top (our server was the son of one of the chefs). We really loved it here.

Was greeted immediately and felt like home the entire time. Some of the best food we have ever had in our 3 trips to this city. Pineapple and mango smoothie was amazing as well as the huevos rancheros and breakfast burrito. We will be back for sure.

Chencho’s in La Veleta is a true gem! This small, family-owned restaurant offers incredible, homegrown food with amazing service and prices. After a night out, we enjoyed a delightful meal here and left with happy bellies and happy hearts. You can really taste the love and energy they put into every dish. Plus, Rancho, the little pup, made us cry tears of joy—he was an angel from heaven. It’s clear that this family truly cares about their food and their guests. Highly recommend for a genuine and satisfying dining experience!
