Modest wine list but we selected a cabernet we both enjoyed. Service was engaging and competent - all-in-all, a good meal and a good time.”

The kitchen closed before we arrived, but the staff let my friend order before it closed so we could have a meal ready for us upon arrival. The staff was super friendly and made meal suggestions. The food was delicious!!! As were the drinks. The staff was so nice and accommodated all our needs. We tried appetizers, main dishes, and dessert as well. I wanted my belly to expand just so I could eat more. Loved the decor and atmosphere. Will come here again when passing through Nashville!!!”

“This has recently become one of my favorite plant based spots in Nashville after trying them at Hunters Station last weekend, then having my boyfriend go back later that night and the next day to grab us food. The fish sandwich tastes exactly like fish and the cheesy potatoes compliment it to well. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that they open up on a more consistent basis but for now I’m ok with stalking their insta page to see where their going to be. 10/10”

“We were in Nashville for a few days and The Treehouse was near our stay. We decided to pop in for dinner and our meal was delicious. Tanner, our server, was very attentive and knowledgeable. His recommendations were great and we enjoyed the atmosphere and food. My husband had the chicken (bring your appetite - it is huge!) and I had the gnocchi. We also enjoyed the burrata starter. We hope to return again when the weather is nice and enjoy their large outdoor space.”

“A trip back to the golden age of nightclubs. A real prohibition/film noir vibe. Top flight warm and friendly service from bar and waiting staff. Bar manager Rhys is right across the whole operation. Also really knowledgeable about the cultural history of the venue - which has been rocking it since 1948. Incredible music from sax player / Nat King Cole voiced Derek Williams, plus singers Laura Mayo and Dianne Sherrill fronting a superb jazz combo led by a highly charismatic pianist. The burlesque show is end to end class with elegance and humour balanced perfectly by co producers Jonny Gowow (musical director) and Tessa Mendoza (hostess / lead dancer). Food also of equally high standard. The prime rib is a near religious experience!”

“I had heard a lot about this place and figured I had to try it out. Everyone was ranting and raving about it. When I walked up, the line was already out the door, so I thought this would be a good thing. I was originally planning on dining in, but after a while I decided to take it to go and eat back at my hotel. Also I was disappointed that they ran out of ice cream and I couldn't try the root beer float.• Lets start with the chicken. It has some good flavor. I grabbed the mild version and it had a little spice (wasn't trying to destroy my stomach for the next two days in case anyone is wondering) and overall decent flavor.• The fries were very delicious in my opinion, one of the best parts of the meal.• Now the not so great part, the desserts. The peach cobbler was less than desirable, I'm no chef but I feel like a little cinnamon in that would go a long way. It had no taste to it, I took about 4 bites and pushed it to the side. The banana pudding was pretty decent, I just expected a lot more out of it since it was hyped up so much.All in all, I would eat here again, to try out the sandwich and possibly get my hands on a root beer float. I would also recommend this place especially if you like spicy chicken. I imagine the last two heat levels are keeping Tums and Rolaids in business.”

“Great food hall to have in the center of downtown right off of Broadway. It’s family friendly, you are able to order from any of the wonderful vendors. They have such great choices to choose from, pizza to your favorite alcoholic beverage (with full bars on each side). It’s no cash so be prepared! The offer several clean seating areas both inside and outside patio, live music, friendly staff that will gladly take your trash/food trays. I’ve visited a few times a few since moving here and it’s so great to be able to get a cup of coffee while stopping by Sephora.”

“How adorable is a secret garden theme bar! We came here to celebrate my birthday with a group of 12 and it was excellent. The T&R team was so accommodating, our food was delicious (get the taco platter for a group!) and our drinks were fabulous. Kat, our server, took excellent care of us and had fantastic recommendations for everyone. We also tried the adorable Secret Garden specialty batch cocktail drink (basically a flower bouquet!!!) and it was tasty and so fun to share. I know the themes change every so often, but I can't wait to see what they'll do next up here. Would recommend for a fun celebration with a group, girls night or a romantic evening! We requested an indoor spot because it's still cool outside, but I wish it was a few weeks later because the outdoor patio looks so inviting! I think we'll have to come back!”

We were grief stricken, exhausted, and, frankly, a little lost emotionally. We saw the sign as we exited the 196 and turned in like youngsters after a night on the town. The place was full, as always, and I believe there were only two people working. A waitress and cook. We were lucky to nab a table, and the waitress was right there. We had great service. Great food, and even managed to reminisce and have a little laughter in the midst of deep loss. Kudos to the crew working 2am on 01/12/24. You brought joy and healing to aching hearts.”

I also really loved that they were advertising ASL (American Sign Language) lessons one day a week to customers. A really positive community skill learning idea. ?My new favorite spot for bagels!”

My husband doesn’t even like sauce and he loved the sauce that came on it. The pickles were almost too close to the taste of cucumber (hate cucumber) but they were good too!The fries were okay. Nothing to write home about. Not sure why people like these pencil sized fries. The seasoning was okay as well. I like Zaxby’s fries better.The cheese curd appetizer was very good and the manager came to check on the taste of those. Forgot to take a pic of those because we were hungry.The burger meals were $15 each and appetizer was $11. Not terrible prices for these times.They allow dogs, it seems. So that is cool. The place was packed but we got seated pretty fast. It got even busier as we left. Overall, you must go in to try the burger or the onsite brewery (which I did not try, but not my thing to spend tons on beer).”

“We just returned from a fun long weekend in Nashville. Eating at Cafe Roze for dinner was our culinary high light. Their chili eggplant dish was unbelievable. What I wouldn’t do for that recipe…and the talent to prepare it to perfection. I wanted to continue vegetarian so I ordered the simple pasta - also done to perfection. Others at our table had the paprika chicken, wedge salad with salmon and vegetarian dinner bowl. All raved about their dish and ate every bite. This is a very special cafe. Small intimate and lovely - but the food is the star. The noise level was not crazy loud either which we appreciated. Best restaurant in Nashville by a mile.”

“We were on the way home from picking up my mom from the airport and stopped in for supper. The service was amazing and the food was delicious. There were two ladies working in the front. They were very attentive. It wasn’t particularly busy when we were there and Charlie and Bro could have easily been sitting down playing on their phones. Instead, they were cleaning. It was spic and span in the dining area!!! They were cleaning and changing out the bbq sauce bottles, wiping all of the tables, chairs, vacuuming a mopping the rugs, wiping off the chairs and booths. Really utilizing their down time. And that’s not very common to see these days, sadly. I had to brag on them in person, but also wanted to write a review also because many times the focus is always on the bad, so I am very happy to share a great review for a restaurant that was all around great today and especially to call out Charlie and Bri that were so hospitable and working so very hard! I honestly feel like if I would’ve said I’m not doing well, they would’ve asked how they could make it better. But on a serious note, I highly doubt that’s possible when you cross that threshold into Hugh’s world ?So let’s get into this food…now I very rarely get order remorse but my cousin ordered a chili dog that looked like something straight out of a 1990s backyard bbq fever dream. I must’ve been staring a tad too hard because giant glob of chili was just hanging on the precipice of her bun and my reaction was akin to trying to stop an inevitable head on collision.Luckily my number was called shortly afterwards so I could prepare for my own personal bliss. Of course I had to get another “Barnyard” special (chicken sandwich w/ beef patty + bacon) Now I’ve had a barnyard from every location but this location has the recipe DOWN!! See, the Barnyard will put you in the dirt if you’re not careful. It’s a lot if you’re not used to taking on the whole farm in one go, so I’d suggest just cutting it down the middle and saving the rest for later. But I’m convinced the crew here might be part Incredible Hulk, because they smashed that patty with the a level of perfection that both retained the juiciness of the beef yet not overshadowing the chicken. Although the same amount of meat as usual, the meticulous mashing made for a slightly less intimidating meal and I finished the whole thing and didn’t feel overly stuffed afterwards…I mean I’m still awake enough to write this review so that says a lot.The chicken was seasoned to perfection…like I could have legit just eaten the chicken alone. I mean no condiments, no bun, No Nothin’ just chicken. And I know that’s grammatically incorrect but this level of flavor kinda knocks the sense right out of you.I hardly make it to that side of town often but please believe, I just found the perfect excuse!! Hugh Baby’s for the win! Again!!”

“We just returned from a fun long weekend in Nashville. Eating at Cafe Roze for dinner was our culinary high light. Their chili eggplant dish was unbelievable. What I wouldn’t do for that recipe…and the talent to prepare it to perfection. I wanted to continue vegetarian so I ordered the simple pasta - also done to perfection. Others at our table had the paprika chicken, wedge salad with salmon and vegetarian dinner bowl. All raved about their dish and ate every bite. This is a very special cafe. Small intimate and lovely - but the food is the star. The noise level was not crazy loud either which we appreciated. Best restaurant in Nashville by a mile.”

“I may have had the best meal of my 55-year life! I had the scallops (off-menu special) and my husband had the pork chops. What an amazing explosion of flavors in both dishes! Lobster bisque was subtle (not too salty) and rich - so good! And the service was off the charts fantastic! Props to Max and Andrew! Delicious wines and great live music, which wasn't too loud. We could still talk easily. The only cons were the Brussels sprouts, which are brought out as a complementary extra, but they were just steamed and lightly seasoned. I like Brussels sprouts, but these were simply not great (like why bother?). And the seating was not super comfortable. Bench seat was hard - per my husband - and my chair was really low and the table had a large pedestal bottom, so between those two and my long legs, I had to sit sideways. But it won't stop us from coming back. The restaurant itself is beautiful! Excellent meal and lovely evening!”

“Husband and I did bar dining on a Sunday with 815 reservations, great staff to patron ratio and we never were waiting on anything or felt like we were being ignored. Complementary valet with the hotel is included, I could see how if it were a busier evening or you did the prefixe dinner how you can go over that time and possibly end up paying, but we did not have an issue. Mushroom soup to start with was absolutely delicious and beautiful presentation. Husband had tile fish entrée and I had pork medallions which were both definitely tasty, but both a little over salted and the spice rub on the outside of the pork was a little over powering, but still a tasty flavor. Very delicious whiskey sour and Manhattan cocktails. No dress code is enforced but everyone seemed to have business casual/cocktail attire on, but there was only about eight other people in the restaurant. Saw several people around us getting oysters and caviar, so definitely would go here if that is your thing”

“As one would expect, Martin's feature a number of smoked meats. This being true barbeque, pulled pork is featured, but they also have turkey, chicken, fried catfish, and chopped brisket along with a number of freshly prepared sides. They've likewise appropriately taken a stand an have a single sauce at the tables. It's a vinegar based sauce, as God intended, but heavy on the sugar, which is unique to middle Tennessee as far as I know (vinegar based sans sugar being a low country South and North Carolina thing). It's very good, of a little different. They do have ketchup, but it's clearly for the fries, not the meat. Atmosphere is great, with a lot of areas to explore. We actually were there during the eclipse, which was cool, too.”

The falafel cakes were so good, we ordered more to go, the red cabbage was seasoned perfectly for a salad. We will be returning to try other dishes, as it was our first time. “Tried Barcelona Wine Bar for the first time on 3/24/24 to celebrate my wife’s birthday with a group of her friends. I was very impressed with the speed of service for a group of 9 of us. The waitstaff were very helpful in answering our questions and making sure we were taken care of. The food is top-notch. My wife got the seafood paella (pictured) and it was so flavorful and beautifully cooked! I got the flank steak, potato, and mushroom tapas which were all very good! The reason for 4 stars instead of five is because they were out of a surprising number of menu items that a couple people in our group wanted. My wife and I will definitely be back!Parking: Street parking is pretty crowded, but there is a paid lot across the street from the restaurant. We paid $12 for 2 hours.”

I had breakfast and given that I’m a foodie and I make a really incredible breakfast, I would eat here seven days a week; the staff is lovely and the food is sublime - make a reservation or you’re not going to get in. I have seen that line 60 deep and that’s no exaggeration. I have never seen a new restaurant get such a huge following in such a short period of time - if you have a reservation, make sure you arrive early because parking around there can be very difficult and challenging and if you’re coming from a hotel just Uber instead of driving your car, this restaurant is utterly outstanding”

I couldn't give a 5-star rating for service & atmosphere because we didn't dine-in so my experience was relatively limited. The food however, delicious. A lot of times, I like to help myself when wait staff is busy. You order at the counter when you come in. You're given an order number for your table and your glass for your beverage. Find yourself a table and your food is brought to you and you help yourself to your beverage. I haven't ordered anything from the bar, so I can't help there.”

“I have visited this restaurant 2 times in the past few months. The food is extremely good. I have order the birria tacos which were amazing, especially with the dipping sauce. The chips and green salsa are very tasty. Order the house made green hot sauce. It seems to be a Jalapeño Avocado sauce and is fabulous as an accompaniment to anything on the menu. The regular guacamole is kind of a miss as it lacks zest. Needs salt and lime. The second visit was this last week. I ordered beef fajitas which were perfectly tender and tasty, served with a ramekin of butter to pour over the entire sizzling platter. Absolutely wonderful. The house made flour tortillas were perfect. One knock on the place. The service... Oh MY !!! All 3 servers were parked at the end of the bar with their faces buried in their smart phones. Each of the 3 servers were oblivious to the floor. None were scanning the dining room to see if any of their guests needed anything at all. I could only get the lady to return to my table after trying in vain to get anyone's attention, when the cook came out of the kitchen to go to the bathroom, HE saw me waving and told them that I evidently wanted something. The boss needs to know this so the boss can straighten this out immediately. I will visit again, but if this disengaged service happens again, it will be my last visit. Five stars for food, 2 stars for aloof service. The servers can easily do better if they just simply pay attention. When we left, one of the male waiters was standing at the host stand clearly playing a video game on his phone. Nope.”

Everyone is running around and does not seem to know what to do. Had to wait for a long time to cash out no one at the register. Someone should always be there. “My food was hot and ready when I arrived for pick up. We ordered the pepperoni magnifico, the Works magnifico style, and wings. Wings had no seasoning but a nice size and fresh. Pizzas had plenty of toppings and were good. Great Job Marco's. Also the Young Lady was there by herself and still did a great job.”
“A trip back to the golden age of nightclubs. A real prohibition/film noir vibe. Top flight warm and friendly service from bar and waiting staff. Bar manager Rhys is right across the whole operation. Also really knowledgeable about the cultural history of the venue - which has been rocking it since 1948. Incredible music from sax player / Nat King Cole voiced Derek Williams, plus singers Laura Mayo and Dianne Sherrill fronting a superb jazz combo led by a highly charismatic pianist. The burlesque show is end to end class with elegance and humour balanced perfectly by co producers Jonny Gowow (musical director) and Tessa Mendoza (hostess / lead dancer). Food also of equally high standard. The prime rib is a near religious experience!”
