To their credit, the chicken and the sides were very tasty. Having said that, it definitely wasn't worth putting up with the long line or the unfriendly attitude. We waited in line for almost two hours, then gave up and put in an online order to pick up later because I was on the verge of a heat stroke. We came back a few hours later when it was time for us to pick it up, and it still wasn't ready for another half an hour. When she told us it would be ready about half an hour late, I asked if we should grab a number and a table while we wait and the server answered, "NO, you have a TO-GO order - your order will be packed TO GO. Tables are for people with numbers." Sorry, no. We'd already been standing for almost two hours for this chicken, and we both have bad backs. We ignored her and took a table anyway and ate our food there. The server gave us some attitude-y faces about it, but too bad. If we were supposed to 'take our food and go' without taking up chairs, it should have been ready to go on time. Seems to me that they wanted to keep more space open so that they could sell more orders before filling the ones for the people who had already paid.
I can't actually give the food for this place a fair rating until I can go back and get regular "Hot", but as for everything else: Service: Friendly, warm, and surprisingly attentive Price: Not too bad for a tourist hot spot, but a bit pricey compared to standard budget lunch (half of a chicken was a little over $13 as of 08/2017) Atmosphere: Inside has a counter to order at and a few small tables along the wall while the outside dining area has larger tables and more space (though seats fill quickly). Fun hip-hop music played in the background. Experience: Don't get an entire half of a chicken at "Damn Hot" spice level; split one quarter Hot and the other Damn Hot instead or you (and your stomach) will regret it later. If you do go with hotter levels you will want to have ice cream or a smoothie (or shake or one of the area's ubiquitous 'bushwackers') as it will help make the spices go easier on your stomach. Other: This place always has a line that goes out the door (even when it just opens!). I checked three days in a row and it ALWAYS had a line while open for business.
If I could give it more stars I would. Firstly the service was amazing. My daughter was dehydrated and not feeling well after the hour or so wait in the 90+ degree sun. The staff took notice pulled us out of line got her water to drink, an ice pack to cool her down and an air conditioned table. The people were super friendly even as they were turning people away. Super fun and friendly vibe. My advice is to come knowing you could wait and drink water... Oh, the chicken is great too! Hand squeezed lemonade is really good.
Best fried chicken ever. Was so impressed. Would go back in a heartbeat. Well worth the wait. The line goes pretty fast. The "hot" chicken isn't that hot. My mum had their hottest version and didn't think it was particularly hot.
Order online to avoid waiting in line! We ordered ahead and had to wait an hour to pick up. So we got some drinks at a nearby bar to kill the time. We ordered 2 "plates" with mild chicken and got 4 sides as part of the deal. The food is great and the prices are very reasonable. For those wondering: The mild reminds me of the same level spice as something with a lot of pepper. Next time I would order medium for a little more heat.

If you are planning to go on a weekend you definitely need to make reservations. We watched people being turned away countless times because this place was booked for the whole night. The food is amazing. I had the MC burger, it was very juicy and filling. It's worth the $3 upcharge to get mac & cheese for your side dish. Chances are it will be going home with you because their burgers are BIG.
Our group of 30 reserved the upstairs for a team builder lunch and were so glad we did! The accommodations were perfect for our needs with a bar for drinks, side bar for appetizers, stage & mic for playing games, and plenty of seating. The staff was incredible from the manager to the bartenders and wait staff. And the food - Yummy! That mac&cheese with hot chicken is to die for! And the pizza..Mmm...Looking forward to hosting another event there or just going to eat with my family. I think the Stillery made some new friends!
Absolutely the best service and food imaginable! We had our 10 year old son and was passing through Nashville. We stopped and wanted to try it. Our waitress was amazing! Very friendly and on top of things. The manager guy was equal as awesome. We sat right by where they served the food to the servers and it was pretty awesome. Our pizza was a few minutes (like 5) after our burgers and they kept apologizing but we all shared food and it was totally fine. Deviled eggs were amazing, baked cheese with bread was amazing, Sonora (or something) burger was wonderful, hot chicken pie absolutely wonderful!!! I'd give more than 5 stars if I could!
The pizzas here are insanely great. Beet salad was delicious and the brussel sprouts appetizer was amazing. Drinks are great. The live entertainment was also great. I can't say anything negative about this place. Service is also fabulous.
First time here, and the next time I'm in Nashville, I'll be back. My wife and I had the Chop-Chop salad and the Hangar steak. The steak was requested medium-sized rare, and came out spot on. Melted in your mouth. The large salad portion could feed two people easily. All in all, definitely worth a stop in to try.

Downtown Nashville's newest Mexican restaurant receives 5-star rating from me. Finally, a taco restaurant that serves flour tortillas with, what seems to be, 90% of meat in the taco (see the picture for yourself). I tried the pork and chicken tacos and was blown away by the flavor, quality, and quantity of the serving. They even include a single serving of chips and salsa with your tacos. Oh and by the way, they serve the tacos in these "taco holders" so the food stays hot and organized. The service was outstanding (ask for Brandon), and the atmosphere on their balcony was perfect. I received a warm welcome at the entrance, and the kitchen crew were friendly and helpful. It's nice to see teamwork at this restaurant. Some of the nearby restaurants could learn a great deal from this new restaurant. Keep up the great work, and please don't change or take your customers for granted. Also, please hire only the best. I recommend this new restaurant. Thanks.
Great drinks and much larger tacos than other gourmet tacos of the same quality and price. Although, they would be much better with more authentic corn totillas. Cool atmosphere and great staff! Wish it wasn't such a pain to park downtown... I would visit more if there was a location more accessible to non-tourists.
Great drinks and the best tacos I've ever eaten (chicken and fried catfish)! Guacamole and queso was fantastic! Friendly staff and reasonable prices in a somewhat over-priced tourist area. Try the rooftop seating. Great place to hang and people watch too. Maybe my fave spot to eat in the 5 days in Nashville (and we tried many)!
You have to stop here! Amazing food. Decent prices. Cool atmosphere. Best tacos ever!
The service was fast and amazing the food was good he answered our questions right away and gave us all the details. And the server was very kind. If your are in Nashville downtown I would definitely request this place to eat.

My ultimate guilty pleasure. I don't really eat meat, but man I get these crazy cravings for 5 Guys every now and then. I love it.
Fantastic service and even better food! Parking is a little tricky but definitely worth it! Highly recommend!
Kids in here always smiling even though they're working hard, and they make a damn good veggie sandwich. Parking in rear, yungblud.
Simple place for good but expensive burgers, abundant French fries. Somewhere between fast food and a sit down restaurant.
Food is always fresh made to order. The Fresh toppings and large patties also don't hurt. Only gripe is that they don't serve Milkshakes.

Amazing food! The portions were perfect. Food was cooked to perfection if you enjoy Mexican food. I Loved it sooo much. Will definitely be back if I ever find myself in Nashville!
LOVE this place. The food isn't the most seasoned, but it still tastes amazing somehow. Whatever you do DON'T GO HERE FROM 12-1!! They're super busy and PACKED. The best times to go are in the morning 7-10 and afternoon 2ish-4. It gets crowded again at about 5-7.
This place was recommended to us by the concierge at our hotel just across the street--apparently it is a favorite of the locals. I am from the southwest so tacos are a huge staple in my diet and I must say, these were on par. The food was really tasty, I got the fish taco and chicken and they were both excellent. I only took off one star because our cashier, while polite to us, was very mouthy to her supervisor while standing at the front counter and made for a very awkward minute or two being that it is a confined space and could hear every word they were saying.
Great food and prices, it's always busy around lunch and dinner hours, there's no free parking around, but definitely worth coming back to every time
Yo they have amazing tacos! But super busy! @12-2 but they move quick with the staff they have but need more help
