Reasonable place ; what what you ask for they charge for lemon and onion :) understand it’s a business but expect them to be upfront about it. Naan felt like frozen one heated up . I won’t go again .

Loved my Palak Paneer at Cinnamon Kitchen! They nicely accommodated my health issues with broccoli instead of rice for a small up charge. I was very happy to be able to enjoy this delicious Indian food!

Went for lunch and the food was very bland. Ordered the veg platter , chicken platter and chicken biryani . The platters were ok but nothing worth mentioning. The chicken biryani was abysmal.. it felt more as tomato rice cooked with chicken with some masala . Would not recommend . Not sure about the other recommendations but this was during Saturday lunch.

Could not find a single flaw here. The food is delicious and authentic. The portions are fair. The service is attentive and informative. They have good variety. There's nothing missing! We did however attend this place an hour before closing, so there was not a packed service to analyze. Nonetheless, I'll definitely be back.

You get portions for what you pay.Love their balanced spices. We got none and 1 spice levels for our first time there, and it was perfect. Apparently has its regulars who visit. Standard vegetarian Indian dishes that have been well-done. Absolutely recommend for a weeknight. Service was a touch slow, but helpful.

I ordered takeout and they forgot an item in my order. Of the food I received the naan was hard and the lamb was tough. I was so disappointed because this place came highly recommended.

They were so kind to us, accommodating having a small child, and the food was amazing.

Tried this via Door Dash last night. Tiki Masala and garlic nan was great. Would order again when back in the area.

I just had lunch here the other day.I was looking for classic sit down Indian food, not the now popular in Asheville, deconstructed street food menu. I say popular, I guess that really means those restaurants that are paying for advertisements in the local media…. for the latest trendy tourist food.-The chicken tikka masala was as good as I have ever had.-The service was polite and quick.-The restaurant was clean, well-kept, and modern.FYI: when a restaurant, or an advertisement for a restaurant, mentions street food, what they are really saying is we didn’t want to spend a lot of time or money on what we are selling you.

I absolutely adore that this cozy little restaurant is so consistent. It has been a favorite of mine for years and I know that anytime I’m near Asheville, this will be my favorite meal. The service is super attentive. Seating is usually available. Not only do drinks arrive quickly but so does any food ordered. I always feel a little like a VIP! Over the years I’ve tried many dishes but I usually go back to the traditional chicken korma. The last visit I went it was snowing outside and this dish was absolutely the perfect amount of warmth and comfort. It may be my new favorite “comfort food.” The flavor is well balanced, and they always ask how spicy you would like it. For me the mild is plenty flavorful. It’s played elegantly with Jasmine rice and some veggies. The Tikka Masala has more of a tomato base and is also very flavorful. The garlic Naan was delivered hot and fresh from the oven. It was full of flavor without making me feel weighted down with too much bread. YUMMMY! The chai tea is also one of those that makes you just feel cozy at the first sip. If you want a cold drink, the mango lassie here is by far one of the best ones I’ve ever had. It’s full bodied, thick but not overly so while also sweet but not enough that it tastes like syrup. They do really well at accentuating the natural mango flavor. The kind staff always makes me feel welcome and I would absolutely recommend this often overlooked jewel to anyone!

We often order takeout from Cinnamon Kitchen, but our latest order was the best ever. Terrific flavor, fresh food… it couldn’t have been better.

I always order takeout online through Chownow. No service fees. Food is always fresh and hot. Favorites include naan, lamb tikki masala and lamb Josh Rogan. Menu offers dishes from all regions of India. Entrees are large enough to split to serve two.

Super good! Some of the best Indian food in Asheville and some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had! I got the lamb korma and there was lots of meat and it was so delicious and creamy. My boyfriend gets the sea bass korma and it’s super good as well (very fishy so wouldn’t recommend if you don’t like that) with lots of saffron! We shared the chicken 65 as an appetizer and it was soooo delicious and tender definitely would get again! My boyfriend stops here everytime we’re in Asheville
