Friendly service (albeit a bit slow) and above average fare make this a decent spot to grab a morning bite.

A great place for both the health conscious and not so much. Absolutely loved my tofu scramble (meat eaters feel free to roll your eyes but I did add the pulled pork for my carnivorous side)I was impressed with Whitney’s knowledge of food allergens! (I have to avoid gluten and eggs(gluten free vegan but I eat all the proteins-welp it is as difficult and annoying as you are imagining) Come hungry and fill up on delicious quality food.

Fabulous breakfast with even a better server. Will was kind, polite, and engaging. He made sure I understood what I was ordering (chicken and biscuits vs. chicken and waffles). He happily answered all questions regarding Asheville. One of the best servers anywhere. When we return we'll ask for him specifically.

Great food, great experience especially in Covid-19 era. Everything was wonderful, Selena was wonderful! Great service!

Picked up some breakfast to-go and both omelets were delicious!!! Also, one of the best biscuits I’ve ever had in my life. Friendliest staff as well!

Called the restaurant to see if there was a wait and the hostess was very short and had an attitude with me. Decided to go there because there was no wait (not surprised). Upon arriving the hostess, which I assume is the same one on the phone, was extremely rude and had the same bad attitude. I have been in the hospitality industry for 11 years and am fully aware that there is no reason to treat a customer in this manner. Once we were seated our waitress and food were subpar. Waitress was friendly but not attentive. Food was decent. Disappointed but believe they can improve with better customer service in the future. If given the opportunity, go to the downtown location.

It was nearing noon, and we were so excited to learn breakfast is served all day! Very glad we didn't miss this gem. Food was wonderful and Amanda was so sweet! Excellent service and a delicious brunch. Highly recommend Early Girl!P.s. - please get the banana bread as an appetizer. You won't be sorry!

It was overpriced and mediocre. Grits were under cooked and not authentic. I got the french toast biscuit it was very meh and could've been a lot better. I also got a side of bacon which was probably the best part of it all. Also the server was forgetful.

Good food selection. Has options for gluten free, vegetarian and vegan if you're into that. I ordered the southwest omelet. It was pretty good. Not great, but good. It was supposed to be 3 egg omelet but it seemed a bit small. It was good though and I had home fries and a biscuit with side of gravy. So I got full enough. The service was great! It was nice that there was parking next to the building. So that part was easy!

There is a reason this mountain gem has been reviewed in magazines like Bon Appetit and we were deliciously happy! Char had the Goat Cheese & Herb Omelet and I had the Biscuit French Toast with a side of Applewood Smoked Bacon & 2 eggs. Everything was homemade fresh, even the Very Berry Jam that Char had on her biscuits. That was so good we bought a jar of it. Coffee was good served in old school diner cups. Early Girl Cafe is a definite must in Asheville.

Food was great. They have outdoor seating on a covered patio available. Very dog friendly - they bring your pup his own bowl of water! Lots of other dogs though so be prepared for interaction. There can be long wait times due to COVID, spacing is limited. We went at 10am on a Monday and waited for about 20 min for a table but food was worth it.

Great breakfast, we did takeout due to covid but the dining area looks nice. Biscuit French toast was great especially with the whipped topping. Would love to come back here next time we are in Asheville.
