Who doesn't love donuts especially a good one? Walked on Easter Sunday to a friendly staff eager to help answer any questions. Y'all it took me 10 minutes to decide on what I wanted deep down I wanted one of each but my hips told me no!! LOL. I finally decided on a cronut with chocolate filling and a glazed donut topped with strawberry icing and sprinkles. Now I have to ride home smelling these donuts!! The car smelled like a French bakery. That was the longest 8 minute ride back to the house but I survived....barely!! These were not overly sweet, they were fluffy, simply delicious.

Great local bakery! The service is always excellent and the staff is friendly and helpful. The bagels are superior to most in the WNC region. Great spot for a breakfast sandwich & excellent donuts and pastry.

The person behind the counter was amazingly kind and helpful, Thank heavens she was patient, because choosing what delicious treats we wanted was quite the task. The selection was extensive. Everything we had was delicious. Head to Geraldine's to satisfy your desire for decadent treats!

They may seems decent. But the owner is terrible. Total scum goes to restaurants in the area and stiffs servers on things beyond their control. Also has a crack

The earlier you arrive, the better your selection will be. But it's hard to go wrong!

Absolutely impressed! I ordered rainbow cookies (Italian pastries) because I haven’t had them in a really long time and I was trying to find a bakery that makes them in the Asheville/Arden area. I called around to several places and come to find out Geraldine Bakery does make them. You just have to order them ahead of time. These guys knocked it out the park!!! The consistency of these cookies is what I was looking for. They taste EXACTLY like the rainbow cookies I get in New Jersey and in New York. Job well done! Also want to thank Lily, she was very nice over the phone and also was accommodating. I was running late to get my order and she still told me they would wait for me to come pick it up. Got there right at closing time. Thanks again guys. I will be back to order more in the future.

Haven't been back since it changed ownership. Went in for a pecan danish. It went up almost two dollars to $5.30. Got to work; took a bite into it, it was stale. Tried to call the bakery to ask about it but their phone is not hooked up. It's not the same without Fred and Rosemarie. Thank God for West End bakery and city bakery on Charlotte Street.

Dietary restrictions: They were very honest and clear about food contamination because my son has several food allergies.

The donuts were wonderful and the service was so kind and friendly. The inside was a bit cramped but there were plenty of seating options outside. Overall, a good experience and a hidden gem!

Quintessential 1930s bakery experience, even down to the music being played. Fantastic fresh doughnuts ? and great fun old-school atmosphere with no pretension. Rare find these days.Kid-friendliness: Big glass case for everybody to see what's what, with kid-friendly (be-sprinkled) options.
