We received a warm friendly welcome entering the restaurant. Our server was Cesar. He was not attentive at all! We didn’t understand why since there were only a few people at the time in the restaurant. We asked Cesar for recommendations but felt like he was just reciting the menu. Due to his lack of attentiveness, we were forced to ask another waitress for recommendations and she was extremely detailed, friendly and even gave us other good restaurants to try during our stay. The appetizer came out very fast and was tasty. The drink was very good and refreshing. The chicken entree had great flavor but the salad was not a great choice. Most of it was lettuce with a few croutons and very tiny diced pineapples and frozen boiled tasting shrimp with a super sweet dressing. Would not recommend it. However, the view was gorgeous at sunset.Food & drinks: Restaurant is located in the hotel on 4th floor. Very nice area.

We were happy to be able to have a bite at the end of a long road trip. The hostess and waitress were very nice. We had Cheeseburger sliders, yucca fries, and beef empanada. They were all pretty good but not outstanding. My impression is they use frozen food. On a different afternoon we enjoyed a glass a wine on the lovely deck with a feat view.

Our night celebrating my birthday at Hemingway's Cuba was absolutely incredible! The service was top-notch, with staff going above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing experience. The food was simply delicious, and every dish exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend Hemingway's Cuba to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. A huge thank you to the staff for making my birthday celebration so special!

We went for a friend's birthday & planned to only stay for a little happy hour. However, we enjoyed it so much, we canceled our dinner reservations elsewhere & had everyone meet us at Hemingway's Cuba. We were not disappointed with our decision! It was great all around - the drinks, the food, the service - and we will be back!

The ambiance just wasn't there. The shrimp was ok. The tacos were great. But it was all just way too “vanilla” for me to say that it was anything but over priced and over hyped.

This place was rather disappointing. It's a sports bar with a roof top. The roof top has fire places but overall is not warm enough to be outside and enjoy it. The drinks were basically juice and overall felt like a tourist trap. I didn't try the food but from the entrees I saw, it was not impressive.

Quiet night in Asheville and at Cambria. Got seated quickly. Chris, our server, was great. The food was very good. Should try it. I was surprised as I didn't know about Hemmingways.

Went to rooftop to watch spectacular sunset on a cold February night. We sat in the cozy enclosure that was decorated to the tee with fluffy pillows, a portable fireplace and twinkling lights. The gracious manager and kind server made our special girls’ trip one to remember for a lifetime! Will certainly be back!!

Located in Cambria hotel where we had resided in. Hemingway provided indoor and outdoor seatings with beautiful view. While we undoubtedly enjoyed the atmosphere, our breakfast quality was only subpar, milk coffee extremely sweet. There were two servers in sight, one looked friendly, one looked grumpy and we got the latter. She might be having a bad day or overworked cause there were some uncleaned tables to be attended to.Overall not a very pleasant experience.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy wheelchair access

Local patrons , visited many times. This visit was a Friday night Restaurant was less than half full at 730 pm. Server ( Caesar? ) Seemed a bit uninspired about being at work. Took drink and app order. He delivered drinks in a fair amount of time but only one drink at a time. Returned to take main order several mins later. Normal . After about 20 mins. Main courses arrived. We mentioned we still didn't have the appetizer. He looked on the handlheld ordering device and mumbled (my bad ). He didn't enter the order to the kitchen. By then our drinks were empty so as asked for another round. As we started eating we noticed him exit the main dining area by a door at. The far end. Watching the bar the noticed the bartended has completed our drink order and there they sat, 10 mins, 15 mins , 20 mins......21 mins later our server came back into the dining room, MIA for 21 mins. Finally delivered 2 watered down drinks. So we asked for the check. We dine out not just for. The food but for good service- SERVICE is equally as important as the food. He did a very poor job and none of his co-workers or management was around to help fill void in his lackluster service. Not a good experience

Hemingway's is one of my favorite places to eat out in Asheville. It's where I take everyone that's visiting from out of town. Amazing food and cocktails. Beautiful view during the day and right in the heart of downtown. Walking distance to plenty of neat local bars. I've never had bad service here! 10/10 would recommend lol
