I would give this place 0 stars if I could. First review on Google I’ve ever written. My family ate here on Tuesday March 26th and all got violently ill like clockwork 45 minutes after. 2 adults and 2 kids ages 4 and 7. Thank goodness our 8 mo old didn’t have any ramen or she’d probably have gone to the hospital. The only thing we all ate was the ramen. Never in my life have I gotten food poisoning and unfortunately it happened while we were on vacation for spring break in the mountains of NC. Ruined 3 days of our trip and our stomachs are still trying to recover. In general the food wasn’t good either. My husband is Japanese and we are from the Philadelphia area and have eaten a lot of ramen and it was pretty flavorless. The only positive thing I can say is the service was good. Otherwise I will be reporting them to the NC department of public health.

Unassuming location with very little parking. The ramen was pretty good, with a decent amount of broth, pork slices and noodles. The noodles had a nice bite and bounce, and the broth was pretty good.We got the oyster tapas, and tempura ice cream. The oysters were delicately fried, but we did think it's a bit overpriced. The ice cream was great though.

I feel bad writing this review- but for someone who is as obsessed with ramen like I am- you should know that this is not very good ramen..at all. I got the deluxe ramen, and it was just over all bad. The broth didn’t taste like anything except burnt. Not sure how to describe it but it just tasted like burnt particles. Tried my friends curry ramen - and it was better. But wouldn’t get that either. Spent $100 and would never go back or recommend it. Service was okay, though!

I wish I could remember her name but I am terrible with names , our waitress ( she had red hair with a black stripe on the front left , about 5,7) she was the sweetest , most patient one I have ever met there !! She made sure my drink had none of my allergies and didn’t make it seem like a hassle , and had a smile on her face the whole time !!!If I could give her a raise myself I would , so thank you to our waitress for being the way you are !!

They have no concept of what Gluten Free means on their menu. Even when the items were marked gluten free on the menu & after a thorough conversation on what would be safe for me, I was “ glutened “in two bites.Not safe for true gluten free folks. We had to rush out of the restaurant immediately due to my reaction and they still charged us full price.Dietary restrictions: Unsafe

I love getting Togo ramen from here. They pack it up just right so the broth is separate and is great a few hours later. Owner is super nice and staff is great. I’m in the industry and I’ve heard some negative comments about the owner but I really think that’s a bunch of hearsay. A place of business should be judged on the food and service and this place is top notch and deserves your business.
Their ramen is best in town, but don’t forget their other menu items!Allow a little bit extra time, because they seem to be consistently understaffed.We have been to Itto dozens of times since they opened, and I would say that overall, we have had some wonderful experiences. The food is consistently good. No misses on the food. Every once in a while, the servers are problematic and mixup an order. We were brought the stuffed Shishito peppers when we asked for the regular. One time we weren’t waited on at all, no waters or anything, for about 20 minutes. They explained it was a mixup. We have been given the wrong credit card receipt. One time they couldn’t find our credit card, because they had dropped it somewhere. But any time we had a problem with service, it was never with attitude. The servers always seem to be chipper, even when they are overwhelmed, as they often seem to be. Everyone is nice, apologetic when mistakes are made, and we simply know to allow a little bit more time when we eat there, because they are often busy and a bit understaffed. A funny story: One time we called and asked if we could make reservations and the person on the phone said, “I don’t see why not.“ And we arrived to discover that they don’t accept reservations. It was pretty funny; we weren’t mad, and we thought that the person who answered the phone must’ve had a sense of humor. And/or he was frustrated with working there, but, regardless, our table was ready very quickly, even if they did not have a reservation for us!Obviously, the ramen is the highlight here, but as I noted earlier, their sushi is good as well. Tapas appetizers are wonderful too. The Shishito peppers are excellent. The grilled squid is good and is a large portion. The mango shrimp is good.But, again, the ramen is the star here. I always get the spicy ramen. My husband gets the classic ramen. We both order extra sides of the eggs. Sometimes we order three or four sides of the eggs. They are done so beautifully!Overall, this is our “go-to” ramen place. The broth is just a step above the other places that serve ramen in town.
