Taco temple is amazing. Everything is so fresh and the tortillas are made from scratch. The margaritas are delicious, big, and affordable. Fast and friendly service!
I absolutely love this place. I drive two hours just get there Baja tacos, my favorite. They also have other amazing tacos and sandwiches to choose from. All of it is amazing
Fresh daily, handmade and authentic. Simple menu executed perfectly. Highly recommended.
This place is a positive experience every single time. Food, atmosphere, indoor/outdoor seating, and polite staff. When my mom comes to visit from across the state, she asks us to take her here:) You've got her hooked.
I was in Asheville for the morning from Hendersonville & decided to try Taco Temple & I am SO glad I did! Everything is so fresh & tastes great! Really cool little spot with delicious fresh food
Fresh and plenty of options. Loved the authentic taste and variety of mild and heat. Looking forward to our next trip.
Always amazing. We love the avocado, sweet potato, black bean torta. Have to get it at least once a month. Service is always friendly and accommodating
Best tacos in town! Staff is always friendly and accomodating. Restaurant has a nice flow, order once you come in and they bring the food out to you. Drinks are delicious, you must try the horchata! Only downfall is parking but there is a lot next door that you can park in and walk over, it's not far at all. I highly recommend Taco Temple!
Okay so if you know me, you know how much I love tacos. Yes, I know everyone says that, but I really love them. And I will judge the heck out of them if they are not authentic. However, Taco Temple is legit. I had the fish, and avocado taco and both were amazing. I was pleasantly surprised by the portion size and loved that they included a small side of chips and salsa for free. Best $8 ever spent!
I love this place, me and my co-worker eat here at least 1/2 times a week. Highly recommend if you enjoy tacos. The owner is very friendly and nice too!
This is my favorite restaurant to go to. The tacos are really good and the atmosphere is simple and inviting. It's slightly cramped because it's in a small building, but it's well worth it, and when it's warmer you can eat outside. Great place and you should definitely try it out!
Do not miss this little place if you love a different twist on tacos. So good we went back a second time. Plenty of choices whether you’re a vegetarian or a meat eater. We’ll make it a staple of every visit to Asheville.
The avocado taco was delicious! Highly recommend this place!!
Everything is very fresh and delicious. Great selection of tequila! Parking is tricky so be patient.
Best tacos and margaritas around. Was at Asheville to see a show at The Orange Peel. Ate here and was 50ft from the Peel.
Counter server didn’t greet. Waited about 30 minutes for cold food. Tried to get replacement and it never came. Manager apologized and offered a gift card but I’m just visiting town, although I did appreciate that. In the hour I was sitting there, I didn’t see staff bus any tables. Customers were looking for brooms to sweep under the tables themselves.
Wow, so good. Was super surprised how delicious everything we got was. The tortas, tacos and plantains we all great. I'll see you again for sure.
I am in LOVE with their chipotle salsa. They roast the tomatoes first and it makes all the difference. These guys offer fresh handmade corn tortillas too, so their tacos are out of this world. This is a simple place with a small menu but everything is excellent. They have a nice little outdoor area too so it's a great place to go on a pretty day. it can be quite busy during lunchtime though, so I recommend going around 2 if you want to walk right in and order.
Really tasty! The homemade blue corn tortillas are wonderful but don't detract from the the delicious taco fillings of well-flavored steak or seasoned chicken! I'll go out of my way to get there again!
Altho I know nothing about Mexican food, the meal was delicious and the prices affordable! Love the decor and the fresh food/drinks. I'd definitely get the menu online to learn of these flavours and eat there.
Food and service were fantastic. Everything was clean and pleasant and relaxing after a not so relaxing drive into town. We will definitely visit again. Loved the old building and the exposed walls on the inside. Leaving some of the drywall was a great idea. Warm and cozy inside.
I give taco taco temple a 5 because every time I come in they are so nice & the food is always excellent!! The restaurant is always clean!! The staff here are great & always helpful!
Long wait for the tacos but well worth it (and it was very busy so the wait was expected)! Would definitely eat here again.
This was really good. We got our order to go and it was ready within about 10min. The food was delicious and I will definitely be going back next time I'm in town.
Excellent choice for Mexican if you're looking for something quick. They have plenty of options and everything tasted fresh.
Exceptional Tacos. It was worth the drive from Brevard. The home made corn tortillas are the best. I have tried 5 different types of their tacos and loved them all! The fish (Baja) are the best in my opinion. This is a great place to eat tacos and they have a small parking lot so you don't have to hunt down a parking spot on the street which is a big plus!
We stopped in for a late Saturday lunch after a family hike. We were all hungry and the portions did not disappoint. Some previous reviews suggested the tacos were small. Our experience was very much different. My wife ordered two tacos, each kid had one, and I had three. We also split chips and the chorizo cheese.... it was a ton of food! I did not finish my third taco in the end. Moving to the actual food, it was really good. The tortillas were unlike anything we previously had. They had a nice taste and a thicker texture which held up well to the filling. Each taco had a different taste and nothing felt like the usual taco place. Taco Temple has a great sense of mixing flavors and textures which is why we each tried different flavors. The price for 4 people was pretty good. We enjoyed the food and had a great meal at the outdoor tables. We really enjoyed our experience at Taco Temple.
Let me tell you how much I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! Give me an avocado taco and a fried fish taco on their homemade corn tortillas with their AMAZING salsa, and my day is complete.
We stumbled upon this place through other Yelp reviews when we were in the area. The good: horchata, queso, quacamole, clean ingredients. This place is a taco temple so I would have expected the taco's to pack a little more flavor than they did. This was our first visit so maybe it was just an off night for the team but I tried 3 - 4 different types of taco's and none of them really blew my mind. The shredded chicken was bland, the homemade corn tortillas also didn't pack much flavor. I had high hopes and was unfortunately let down a bit. Don't get me wrong, the food was good (hence the 3 star) but I was fully expecting a 4 - 5 star. You can definitely tell that this place is clean eating at its finest. The problem with places like this (my opinion) is the lack of flavor trade off of the clean eating experience. Depending on what you're looking for this place may knock your socks off!
I came here a year ago and the food was unbelievably good but after going there last weekend I was very disappointed. I had the corn tortilla which was breaking apart and was so dry. The tacos were dry altogether (either from the corn tortilla) or a general lack of sauce. I gave it 3 starts because I think if I'd had chosen flour tortilla it would have been a better experience but the person up front reccomened the corn tortilla.
Couldn't get enough of the ensalada for lunch, the last time we visited AVL. I think we had it three times in one week! The Baja ranch Dressing plus a protein--so good!
I think they have the best tacos in Asheville! So flavorful And reasonably price. Will be back again!
Great lunch 👠Great flavors . Fried Chicken taco and Pacific Cod fish taco and Mexican veggies pickles
The location was really close to the hotel so me and 4 friends stopped in for dinner. I had the cod fish taco and steak torta and both were delicious. We also ordered a side of plantains, pineapple salsa, habanero salsa and cant remember the other kind but it had a smoky taste...again ALL delicious. Between everyone we tried just about every kind of taco and every was full and pleased plus its super reasonable priced food. The serve alcohol here too.
I can't say enough about this place and the staff. the Santa Barbara taco is always my go to with chorizo queso. never disappoints
So a friend had recommended this place multiple times and I just didn't believe they could be THAT good. I was wrong, so so wrong. This place is incredible!!! I got the Santa Barbara taco & the Loreto! The tacos also come with chips and salsa which is super nice! I got all this for like $10 (I got extra chips and salsa) which is a steal! Will definitely be visiting again!
A casual dining experience. Not a typical menu. Very crowded and noisy. Food was good Counter service. Very hot and staff was not cheerful
The Santa Barbara taco is the best! Very cool vibe. Fresh pressed tortilla on fresh farm raised meat and veggies.
Visiting from out if town and was recommended this place by friends that live in Asheville. The tacos are phenomenal. Our group got several different kinds, and everyone loved them.
