Mehfil is so consistently good. Delivery, takeout, in-person - I've never had a less than stellar meal. And the staff and owners are also incredibly nice. They go out of their way to make you feel like a welcomed guest. It's my favorite place to take visitors because I know the food and service will be on point.Dietary restrictions: Tons of great, clearly marked options for gluten free, vegetarian and dairy free!

We had a fantastic dining experience at a restaurant. The food was exceptional, with perfectly balanced flavors and spice levels. The wait staff was attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. Even though we arrived at closing time, they served us with a smile. The vegetarian options were diverse and flavorful. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Chicken makhani was amazing (get it spicy). My husband got the Chicken mehfil and it was great too. Pricey, but hit the spot. We’re Guyanese and Pakistani if that helpsFrancisco was an excellent server.

Mehfil is absolutely fabulous for the lunch buffet. Comparatively to Andaaz in Biltmore village, I find Mehfil to have actual flavor and spice to their food! Andaaz feels very americanized and had no flavor or spice. If you are choosing for a good indian buffet in Asheville, Mehfil is the best choice!

The chicken tikka masala is absolutely amazing, one could call it almost life changing. I've made my own, eaten at something close to 50 Indian restaurants all around the US and overseas and I still dream of this dish. I'm still chasing the quality and depth of taste and coming up disappointed. I will be back.

I was traveling for work in Asheville and heard there was an Indian restaurant close by my hotel. I am SO happy I came here. I got the lamb rogan josh but anything you get here will be fabulous. I am looking around at all the dishes coming out and wish I could try everything. Everyone is leaving full and happy. Aside from the food, the staff went out of their way to make sure I had a great experience. I am here alone and didn’t want a whole order of naan bread but my waiter (and I think the manager) ended up just bringing me a small order with my meal. So kind. I don’t know the next time I will be in Asheville but this will definitely be my first stop!

Went to the restaurant twice last week when I was in Asheville for a business trip, loved the Restaurant so much. Very well done up on the inside - great ambiance, great food including appetizers & drinks - I had the Lamb Chops, Butter Chicken & Garlic Naan and Cocktail Bahuballi, all of them so good including the portion size. The staff was really friendly, Raj the owner really took great care of everything. Thanks! I’ll be back next time for sure when I’m in Asheville.

Not as many main course options as other Indian lunch buffet in area, but the chutneys are fantastic.

We tried the food truck at highland brewery. It was a nice escape to have Indian food in a non traditional setting. We did try several meals but most impressively my teenagers did eat it. We also tried bites of their food. The tandoori chicken was very good but the Frankie was really good too. I don't think I cared for the sauce on it but it was nice. We also had the curry, korma and Tikka masala. All were excellent. Would love to try the actual restaurant one day if we travel through again.

This meal was the perfect treat after a night of volleyball at Highland Brewing!! Pankaj, who was running the food truck, was so informative in helping us choose what to order, and the food was DELICIOUS!! We had the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Samosas and both were so good. Thanks Pankaj for the hospitality and the delicious dinner- can’t wait to come back and try more.

BEWARE OF THE FOOD TRUCKSmall wrap, (Frankie) was mostly dough with very little ingredients and way too much raw onion! There was no description so no idea a bunch of crummy french fries came with to fill up the rest of the styrofoam container.Worst of all I was automatically charged for a 20% tip !When brought to attention I got the brush off.Such a rip off !!!

Frankly, we were stunned that such a well reviewed restaurant could be so poor. From the dry old naan, to the chicken biryani that seemed to have been made days prior....it was sadly...and my wife said the same thing...not just disappointing, but bad. Not sure what went wrong at the Mehfil that night...
