Dude! I've yet to have an average dish here. They have a Chile relleno torta and Chile relleno burrito I highly recommend!! Theyre both vegetarian and so freakin delicious. Their shots are a little high but they pour em big. Their beer selection isn't extensive to say the least, but on tuesdays the special is a 24oz Dos Equis for like four bucks. Cheapest buzz I've had in a good while. The service is always wonderful.

We had the chilaquiles and fajitas. In short, some of the best chilaquiles and fajitas we've had in a hot minute. The dishes are so flavorful and well plated. Margaritas are very yummy too. I've been back 4 times and hands down my favorite mexican joint in South Asheville

We were a little unsure if we were in the right place, because the menu said something else but their shirts said Papas and Beer. We were greeted and seated immediately. It looked like COVID policies were being followed well, masks required, distanced seats, etc. the horchata was delicious and served quickly. The queso was sooooooo good! Lots of chips served with beans instead of salsa, which was odd but good! The dinner was pretty good, I think I'd try a burrito next next as they had a huge burrito list. My carne Asada was smothered in cheese sauce with onions and it was really good!

I'm a huge fan of this plaice. I love their food and margaritas. I especially love their portions. So I was surprised when I ordered the queso and chips to go and paid $4 for this. What a disappointment and feeling of getting not what you paid f

Ended up with Papas Fajitas, side order of rice, homemade quesadilla, and 4 orders of churros..... (that last bit was kind of an accident.... note- churros come 3 to an order....) for 32$. Not too bad. Quesadilla was HUGE. If you order door dash, I recommend paper towels and a plate... and utensils. There is a TON of food. That quesadilla alone had to weigh like 4 pounds. I ended up being about to eat like one piece of it, and saved the rest for my roommate. Happy I finally found a good Mexican place though!

Celebrating my birthday and had a great time! The food was so delicious. You get large portions and wide variety menu to choose from. Please choose the table side guacamole, it's delicious. They offer a full bar which means "drinks were also wonderful" and good price! We ordered from supreme nachos, burritos, taco salad to beef tacos... all was so delicious! Check out the photo after they sang happy birthday! Look at the food on the table. Thank you to the staff of papas and beer for celebrating with me on my special day!
Excellent service and great food. The meal was appropriate for my Paleo-type diet with leftovers for future meals. The restaurant is practicing good social distancing and requiring wearing of masks when away from your table.
