Amazing historical B&B with lovely decor and great service from the friendly receptionists especially.Make sure you arrive between 5 and 6 for charcuterie hour!!Only issue was with the breakfast on the second day when I was served cold sausages with my omelette. I should really have said something.

If you are visiting Ashville, you will not find a more convenient location, with the most amazing staff anywhere. From the welcome text the morning of our arrival (Thanks Jenni) the the warm greeting from Jenna each morning and afternoon. To the impeccable made to order breakfast served by Emily. We could not have been treated any better. This 100 year old inn is incredibly inviting with lots of intimate outdoor seating arrangements and an amazing gathering room with a fireplace and piano. The rooms are a bit dated but more than offset by the space and cleanliness. We will definitely return and recommend ?.

Smaller hotel, great service, nice rooms and wonderful staff. Went for my wife’s birthday and would go back again. Enjoyed the smaller hotel with all the perks of a larger hotel. Will return again soon.

Came here with my husband to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary. We spent 4 nights here and had a quite enjoyable experience. We arrived to a cute mini bottle of prosecco in our room with a Happy Anniversary sign. The bed was comfy. Loved that the bathroom had a bidet. For being such an old property we were pleasantly surprised that we didn't hear any noise through the walls of people walking through the halls or coming from other rooms. The breakfast each morning was delightful. The chorizo scramble was my favorite (it was a daily special). We alternated street parking and parking in the lot but never had a problem grabbing a spot. Just a short drive from the Blue Ridge Parkway as well at The Biltmore which are the two things that brought us to town. I would definitely stay here again. The staff was friendly and it's such a great value for the location, comfort and service.

This is our favorite place to stay in Asheville. The staff is friendly, the food is amazing, the rooms are perfect. I can’t say enough good things about it.Rooms: Perfect size, comfortable, and clean.Noteworthy details: The breakfast is always delicious with a lot of options. They keep snacks and water available and a fire going in the common area. The manager, I think her name was Samantha, was extremely friendly and kind.

We stayed at Princess Anne for our honeymoon and we loved every minute! Everyone we encountered was great; there were a couple people who I only saw briefly so I didn't catch their names, but I will shout out Acorn, Katherine, Jenni, Steven, and Irene. Loved the breakfasts and the variety - everything I had was delicious, and very filling. The happy hours were great, and loved the sitting area with the fireplace and snacks (cakes, brownies, muffins). The attention to detail all around was lovely. The property is old in a way that we found charming. The hotel is on a quiet residential street, walking distance to several restaurants and bars - and we walked into the main downtown area as well (maybe farther than some people would want to walk, but its a short drive anyway). We are stuck between coming back for our Anniversary or in the Spring sometime because the outdoor patio and courtyard looked like lovely places to spend some time (was too chilly this time around). We will be back!

We loved our stay! Cute and charming. Perfect location to downtown- could be a short walk or quick Uber over. The breakfast is awesome. Everyone is friendly. Definitely older- but it’s part of the charm. Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. My only critique would be the towels- they were darker colored towels which kind of smelled when wet. But otherwise everything was great and would stay again!

I live in Asheville, but my husband and I were gifted a stay here after our wedding. I loved it! Unique and charming, I love the historic aspect and it felt homey and comfortable rather than bland and impersonal like a chain hotel. We are both late sleepers, so when I called down for breakfast at 10:30 I was told the kitchen had been closed for an hour. However, the front desk staff went to the kitchen themselves to see what food was leftover from breakfast, and even offered to make the simpler dishes for us! It was above and beyond regular service. I was very happy to get one of the mascarpone cream crepes as they were outstanding. The neighborhood and room itself felt like someplace I would like to live rather than just visit. I was utterly charmed and already plan to come back to celebrate anniversaries.Nearby activities: In a lovely neighborhood and very close to attractions downtown.Walkability: Charlotte Street, about a block away, is very walkable and has many great restaurants.Food & drinks: Breakfast was delicious!

If you don't stay here at least one night, you are really missing out. When they have wine or a happy hour, it's not cheap. It's wonderful they give you a little cheese tray. It's located close enough to things that you can actually walk to it. The people behind the counter could not be nicer and more accommodating. It's just been a fantastic fantastic day. thanks to Jenny behind the counter

The Princess Anne is an absolute treasure if you’re planning an Asheville visit. There is so much character and charm in this historic inn. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Their breakfasts can match any five star restaurant, with the friendliest and most welcoming servers. They have a happy hour for guests, with canapés, cheeses, wine and beer. Would definitely stay here again and will recommend to anyone visiting Asheville.

We had a lovely overnight stay, and were so pleasantly surprised with the hotel. We booked somewhat last minute and received a discount for booking directly from their site. The room was spacious and spotless. We missed the wine reception, but the lobby and patio both looked so inviting. It was so quiet we felt we were the only guests on our floor. Nespresso in the room made for a treat for in room coffee. Cooked to order breakfast is included with your stay, and it was delicious. Staff were always friendly and inviting. Overall so pleased and will definitely stay again next time we’re in Asheville.

I had a lovely solo getaway to the Prince Anne Hotel mid-May. I had a wonderful and spacious suite with a bathtub ( which I had requested) looking over the beautiful courtyard in the back. The hotel is quiet and beautifully appointed. The afternoon wine and hors d'oevres were quite substantial and substituted as my dinner the first night when I was too tired to venture out. I typically drove back and forth into the downtown area but you could walk if feeling vigorous-it was not far at all. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful with restaurant suggestions and a discount for the Biltmore Tour (which I highly recommend). Breakfast choices were terrific and the food was delicious. Service was sometimes a little slow so allow plenty of time because it's too good to miss and included with your room price.
