Totally could give five stars if the chairs were actually comfortable and the wait wasn't so long! Best biscuit in my life...worth the wait. Huge omelet, took home half! Service was awesome and did was delicious, no regrets! The peach pound cake to start, do it!

Amazing breakfast. That's it. That's the post. Worth the wait. THE. BEST. We visit every single time we visit Asheville. And wait. No matter how long. Do yourself a favor and get the carrot cake pancake. Do yourself a favor and order anything. But make sure you get the carrot cake pancake. Thank me later.

This restaurant was packed for breakfast. We waited 30 min. Well worthy the wait! We had a southern chicken and egg breakfast. You can wait outside with coffee and any other drink you want while you wait which is nice. Parking is tough around that area but I found spot on side street just pass restaurant in residential neighborhood.

Shrimp and grits! Shrimp and grits! You’ve got to try the shrimp and grits! Sunny Point Cafe is the place! The joint is jumping! ALWAYS! Those cheesy, chipotle grits topped with candied bacon and perfectly cooked shrimp are simply to die for. I would venture a guess that other menu items are just as delicious, but I seriously wouldn’t know. I never order anything else!

Good food, fresh coffee & cool vibes but not sure the wait is worth the hype. Had about 30-40 minute wait to be seated & waited another 40+ minutes for food. Great spot if you're cool with killing time.

Wow! Must try when in Asheville. Expect a wait as this gem is well known by locals and visitors. We arrived to a forty minute wait but were able to enjoy a cup of coffee while people watching on the patio. The service was great and the food was beyond superb. We enjoyed the biscuits with sausage gravy while waiting for our main course. The biscuits were substantial and we could have left happy at that point. Then came our courses. I ordered the Avocado Toast and my hubby ordered the French toast. Both were spot on and no complaints could be thought of. Must stop and don't get put off on a wait. It is well worth it.

Stopped here at 2:30pm on Thursday, amazed at how crowded! We loved our food and service from Shea, the carrot cake pancakes were splendid. Also enjoyed the Benedict, lots of great flavors. Cool restaurant with plenty of character.

The good: the food. Chicken and waffle sandwich was as delicious as it sounds and the potatoes that came with it were perfectly cooked. Pricing was typical (slightly high) but worth itThe bad: you will have to wait. We waited 50 minutes on a Thursday at 10am. The environment is inviting but the chairs you are sitting in are metal outdoor chairs, not comfortable at all. If you sit outside you’re at picnic tables. The ugly: there is nowhere to park. They have 6 parking places after that you’re on your own to find street parking or park and pray you don’t get towed.

I have never been disappointed here. If you're okay with a long wait time to get in I'd say this is the best place for brunch and worth the wait every time. In order to cut the wait time down we were offered a spot at the bar- I definitely would recommend waiting for a table since it's cramped but we were in a rush so it worked fine for us. The Chicken and Waffle sandwich was just what I needed- sweet with a little bit of kick (I added a lot of their spicy sauce which was so tasty). My side of spuds were perfectly seasoned and crispy. The Mega-mosa is the perfect drink choice especially when you can sip on it while you wait to be seated and still have enough to drink with your meal.

The service was fabulous. Everyone was so kind. The food was some of the best I’ve ever had! The biscuits were huge and DIVINE. The butter and sausage and gravy was sooo good. The bacon is a MUST. The shrimp and grits were seriously the best I’ve ever had.

Hands down our favorite place in Asheville. Don't even think about not going, y'all. The absolute best quality of food, best TASTING food I've ever had, and just honestly the best service anywhere. Order the biscuit plate please! We had the shrimp & grits, the wakin bacon burger, the chicken and waffle sandwich, and the Benny plate. Grab ya a couple tangerine mimosas too! They are amazing with kids, it just feels like your at a family members home. This honestly will prob be my fav restaurant in a long time for a long time!

Super delicious. First off, we were so hungry we started eating before I remembered to take photos--sorry for the bites out of the meal. Anyhow, we ordered the fried green tomato app--pecan crusted w goat cheese and a red pepper aioli--superb! I had praline French toast that comes with a beautiful fruit salad and my friend had a fried chicken sandwich with Brie, bacon, and a strawberry mustard. All was great! And our server Shay was helpful, kind, and knowledgeable about the menu!

Little spot in West Asheville with a fantastic brunch. I can imagine you have to wait more often than not for a table (we waited 45min for 4 people on a Monday morning), BUT they have a good amount of outdoor seating and a bar to order mimosas while you wait. Our waitress was incredibly nice & awarded the winner of our word search contest with a cookie. All of the food was fantastic too. The chicken and waffles had pimento cheese on it and a hot honey (just the right amount of heat). We came home with two bottles of their SPF sauce to put on everyyyyyything.

This place has great service. It does have a line (so get there early). The service was excellent. The menu was comfortable but had unique twists. Definitely price worth as well. Highly recommended
