They currently do to-go growlers a few days per week. Safe and easy distanced transactions. Pre-covid, when the joint was actually open, Black Cloud was hands down the cleanest 'rock' bar in town. Great ambiance, decor, lighting, and vibe. Bartender had great recommendation every visit.

This has become one of my favorite bars in Asheville! Such a cool spot and It took me way to long to give Black Cloud a try. When they first opened, they only served beer and because I'm not a beer drinker, I didn't see much of a reason to go in. I'm so glad we finally went to the basement metal bar on Haywood road! They now serve liquor with a full bar and the barre made me a mean Old Fashioned! I love the vibe of this space so much! Although it has a dark feel to it with horror movies playing on the projector, a demon in the hallway, and metal music playing, Black Cloud is super inviting and friendly! I can not wait for this quarantine to be over so I can get back down there!

This is my favorite place for mead. They lost my favorite server though she was the absolute best. Unfortunately I go less now because she's not there but I'll still drop in once in awhile. They should just hire her back because there was so many more people that came there because of her. It's a lot more empty now.

I went in for 5 minutes (before they kicked me out for being 20) and it was the coolest underground show I’ve been to with a really nice trippy movie playing in the background

My favorite place to go to after a dinner on Haywood Rd! Great music and drink selection! It feels like you are descending into some post apocalyptic bomb shelter!

Loud, heavy metal music and bad artificial blue lighting were not what I was expecting but that's ok. Not every bar is made according to my taste, nor should it be. I could tell when we walked in it wasn't my vibe but in order to not be rude I became a member, despite the snarky bartender who seemed frustrated that people had come in at all. After her 10th deep sigh/ disgusted look/ unhelpful comment I decided to turn around and walk out without ordering. I could have gotten over the vibe if I'd been given decent service but there was literally no incentive to stay and order a drink.
