We stopped in last night for dinner and the restaurant was very crowded. The server told us that the wait time was 45 minutes which we agreed to wait. Once seated, the server quickly took our drink orders and 10 minutes later he returned for our food order which took about 20 minutes to arrive. My wife had the crabcakes dinner and I had the pork tenderloin dinner. The pork was overcooked and very dry and it was served with smashed red potatoes and carrots. The price was reasonable, but the food was unimpressive, I’m not being mean just stating a fact. I probably would not return.

Seafood was superb here. Oysters Rockefeller were divine. Amazing scallops. Excellent interior with fun aquarium in the middle. Service was kind and prompt. Prices are reasonable for the quality. Highly recommend a reservation during peak season or weekend dining. Overall a great experience and would visit again.

Had lunch today. Shrimp and scallop pasta and shrimp tacos. The pasta had a dark to almost black tinge to it and tasted like kerosene or a dirty gas grill. Couldn’t eat it. The shrimp in the tacos was the same. Totally dissapointed. The waitress was pleasant and prompt. Should have read the recent reviews first.

Food and atmosphere and service were great. But $8.00 for hush puppies!! Was under the impression this condiment was complementary (as most restaurants). They were tasty… but WAY overpriced ☹️. Especially after 21.00 for the shrimp

Went there because of the reviews. Server was Maddie (she was phenomenal), she had great suggestions which was helpful for me to make a decision because EVERYTHING on the menu was calling my name. I ordered the crab dip and shrimp-n-grits. I do not regret ordering these dishes.

We live 2 hours away and will make that drive to eate at Michael's. This is by far the best seafood chowder I have ever eaten. If you are in the Wilmington area and you haven't been there, well, you are just missing a great meal.

Great food, drinks, and service. We’ve sat both inside and outside and they each have unique views. There was a bit of a wait for dinner during busy season, but we were able to get a seat at the bar within 10 minutes.
