We had a very large group come in to Grata Diner. Our waiter was very kind and thoughtful, and went above and beyond with making sure I enjoyed my meal. Would highly recommend!

Came to Grata with a large group today and my experience was a good one. Ordered the turkey Reuben with side salad. Portion sizes were generous with the salad being delivered first and then the sandwich; sandwich was hot and this Reuben had pickles in addition to traditional Reuben ingredients. My impression - food was good and service was too. Plus when I asked about tipping the Grata cashier said they receive a living wage and that tips were not expected! WOW, this was a new experience in dining and tips! I will definitely be back.

Although this place has great food and service is also great, the food is subpar for the high prices. It looks like a diner inside. The atmosphere is subpar also for the high prices doesn’t make sense to me. But this may not be everyone’s opinion.
Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly in my opinion.

Food was good. The staff was very cold, unhelpful and would not respond to questions about the ordering model. Will not return

Not sure how this place has 4 stars. The food is awful and the prices are outrageous. Staff were nice. Waffle House is way much better and half the price.

Really mediocre. We waited almost 50 minutes for food that tasted like it came from a hospital cafeteria. Eggs were not even cooked correctly, waffle was barely cooked. Very overpriced for very mediocre food and slow service. Elmos was 100x better.

VERY overpriced for the food quality. Save yourself some money and go to Briggs or equivalent - you will get the same food for a lot cheaper. You’re definitely paying for the location going here. Giving two stars only because the staff was nice - but not a fan of having to go to the counter and order your own food and get your own drinks, again, especially for how much the food cost there. Ordered $18 chicken and waffles - absolutely nothing special about the waffle batter and the chicken was only three, VERY thin chicken strips and they were so dry. Will not be back. Miss Elmos :(

Grata's Diner is more than just a great place to grab a delicious meal - it's a community hub with a heart of gold. The owner's dedication to helping those in need through their non-profit, Grata Connects, is truly inspiring.
My family and I recently visited Grata's Diner and were blown away by the kindness and thoughtfulness shown towards our one-year-old and the recommendations of kid friendly places to bring him. The staff went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable and happy throughout our meal.
As for the food, it was absolutely delicious. We tried the kids banana pancake, huevos rancheros, bomb biscuit, and home fries, and every dish was cooked to perfection. The flavors were bold and satisfying, and the portions were generous.
I highly recommend Grata's Diner not only for their amazing food but also for their commitment to giving back to the community through Grata Connects. It's a rare find to come across a restaurant with such a big heart.

I had a really great meal. I thought the payment process was easy and love that there’s no tip due to fair wages

Great gluten free options! I don't know of another place that offers gluten free chicken and waffles in the area. The menu is well marked and they have a separate kitchen area for gf food prep. Also very kid friendly and positive in general.
Dietary restrictions: Excellent gluten free accommodations.

Underrated local restaurant! They include tip in the price of food and pay their servers living wage! Amazing food, best breakfast bowl in the state. Pancakes are perfect as well.
