This was the most interesting dinner I've had in a while. Mix of Hispanic and Italian folks in the restaurant. Menu was all Italian. Specials were listed on a chalk board in the back. There was a Mexican dish as part of them: Mix tamales. They start you up with some focaccia bread. That could have been my meal. Excellent!! Can say enough about it. Visited a local eatery that transported us to the southern part of Italy for dinner. T's is located in the plaza at the intersection of Maynard rd and Harrison ave. It is on the small side placing seating capacity at 50 ish. Our party was 30, and we were the only game in town, with the exception being a family of 6.On the eve of our excursion, I read a handful of reviews and they were mixed. Teresa is a wonderful host. Our group of 12 was there prior to my daughter's wedding weekend and Teresa treated us like family. The food is very authentic and fresh and it is like visiting someone's home in Italy. There are wonderful specials and a dessert list as long as your arm. The dishes were all quite tasty. I had a linguine with marinara sauce and bits of octopus that was super flavorful and a little spicy. There is a pistachio cake that is to die for.
