We dined with some familiar with Indian cuisine and others who were trying for the first time and everyone loved the variety of dishes. Be sure to try the cauliflower appetizer as well as the cilantro shrimp one - they were large and perfectly seasoned. The decor is beautiful, service was top notch (finished plates were removed quickly without interrupting the conversation) and they surprised us with a happy anniversary dessert. We will be back!

1. The momos are not filled properly.
2. I ordered chicken pepper fry, but there is no pepper taste instead we got saunf taste a lot.
3. The chicken biryani has too much garam masala, making it overly spicy.

It was our first time at Urban Angeethi and we loved it. Our friends have been recommending that we try it for some time. So tonight we took our 95-year-old dad and went in for dinner. The restaurant has a very nice ambiance and fantastic service. The staff is very attentive and checked on us throughout the meal. Our appetizer of Lasooni Shrimp Pepper was absolutely delectable. From the entrees, we ordered Kadhai Chicken, Lamb Roganjosh, Naan, and Raita. Steamed rice came with the entrees. The food was excellent! The chicken was very tender and the lamb just melted in our mouths. We enjoyed a really great meal. Thank you, Urban Angeethi.
Parking: The restaurant is next to Whole Foods (off Hwy 55) in Cary.

A remarkable variety of elevated Indian dishes including hard-to-find regional specialties. The Indo-Chinese apps were great, as was the lamb do pyaaza. Definitely try the Kashmiri methi chaman, an unexpected [vegetarian] star of the meal.

I ordered methi chaman curry, I received stones while eating which was highly disappointing. Additionally, the response i received when i tried communicating with representatives was disappointing

Wow!! 10's all around!! The food was excellent the atmosphere was incredible and the service was above and beyond. I don't have a single complaint. The staff was worth raving about. We got the goat vindaloo and chicken tikka masala with butter naan. Best Indian food I've had in North Carolina. It's worth checking out.
