Andrew and the crew at Blue's took great care of our large group from Canada. Everything ran smoothly, food was great, and drinks were flowing. Crew left happy & full!! Definitely recommend Blue's on Franklin for a good sized crew. Thanks for everything Andrew!

What find of a restaurant. We tried Blue’s on a Sunday afternoon and received amazing service from the owner and authentic Carolina BBQ. We sat outside under an outdoor roof and the atmosphere was perfect and we could also watch March Madness on the many TVs around.Wheelchair accessibility: My 11-year-old uses a wheelchair and didn’t have any issues at all.

Food was phenomenal. Owner was very personable knows a ton about Chapel Hill and life in this community. Very insightful and gives great advice on life in general. I recommend their wings with sweet and spicy sauce. Helped me out with advice on college. He served us despite being very tired and UNC had just lost in Sweet 16, just an amazing person.

Stopped by for some BBQ after the Michigan State game, and are we glad we did. Got some wings for appetizers and they were honestly the best wings I have had in a long time. Large wings and the Dook Sucks Mango Habanero sauce was spot on. Had some ribs as our entre and they were delicious as well. Andrew pulled them right out of the smoker for us and brought them to the table, very cool guy who knows his stuff. Don't overlook their cornbread either, first cornbread from a BBQ joint that wasn't dry.Couldn't be happier, Blue's is our new Franklin St. go-to spot!

I came to celebrate my friend Isaac's birthday and Andrew the owner was so welcoming, telling us stories and making the birthday guy feel so loved. The atmosphere is amazing and the food is to die for. The cornbread was so moist and delicious, it tasted like my grandmother's cooking. And the ribs were absolutely amazing, I bit into these ribs and they tasted like a memory from 13 years ago the first time I eve had ribs in Kansas City. The food tasted like memory and home, the atmosphere was amazing, everyone should come if you are in Chapel Hill!Vegetarian options: Impossible burger is delicious

Food was cold and inedible. Drinks came out after food. I'm genuinely concerned about food poisoning. We didn't eat our food and they still charged us for what seemed like all of it. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND.
The pulled pork at this restaurant is the worst in America. It's a disgrace for North Carolina. The atmosphere was nice, but apart from that, there was nothing noteworthy.

The ribs were "fall off the bone" good and the cornbread was delicious. I met the owner, Andrew, and enjoyed a pleasant conversation with him while he prepared my carryout order. I can't wait to try the dine-in experience!

Blue’s on Franklin is such a welcoming place to enjoy a great meal and has been since the first time my husband and I dined in 3 years ago. Whether it’s the weekend, game day, or a week night out, Andrew (the owner) and the team at Blue’s take such good care of you. You can’t go wrong with Blue’s on Franklin and their delicious bbq, ice cold drinks, and southern hospitality. I cannot recommend this place enough.
I am some who's foreign to bbq. Being from the north it's not very popular. I can honestly say this place has created a new favorite for me. The owner, Andrew allowed me to try different options to experience. At the end I enjoyed a pulled pork sandwich with Mac n cheese & onion rings. I highly recommend this place not for just the fun atmosphere, or great service (thank you Lukas) but for amazing bbq.
