Ordered a number of items via Takeout Central here today, including the BLTC. I made a note clearly asking for no cheese. Not sure what happened but I got just an LT.And the guac on the smashed avocado toast was on the browner side. The sweet potato fries, regular fries, and the chicken wrap (I’m told) were good.

So fun to share in the history of Chapel Hill sports and enjoy a place with current family following in their Dad's footsteps.

Great place to get some breakfast before class. The CCS Classic Omlete is my favorite, and the portions are generous. Being so close to campus, it’s a wonderful breakfast place. The service might be a bit slow at times but that isn’t a big issue.

There was a rusty piece of metal in our biscuit. I cannot fathom what kind of food practices are going on there where this can happen. Avoid this place at all costs.

This review is for 1922 coffee shop. I can say that their espresso-based drinks are at best mediocre. It probably goes for most places along Franklin street. Problem is the people who prepare and sell the products at these shops (and 1922 specifically) rarely consume them or care about making them right. I would insist that every barista must at the minimum *enjoy* drinking coffee to be able to make it for others.

One of- if not THE- best choices for brunch in town. Delicious food, fantastic crafted cocktails, excellent beer and wine selections, good service, and right on Franklin Street.

Have visited several times over the years and always love to come back. CCS is a Chapel Hill staple and consistently has quality food, coffee, drinks along with attentive staff and a clean atmosphere. They've also managed to keep their prices down even with inflation, especially when compared to the average prices anywhere else on Franklin Street. Great place to meet with friends, study, or take your family when they visit.I've had a variety of food there over the years (or know someone who has) and can pretty much recommend the whole menu - but my favorites are the breakfast hash, pub fries, and veggie-burger.There is a parking deck across the street that (last I checked) was free after 6pm and on weekends, as long as there are no games and events going on.Parking: There is a parking deck across the street that (last I checked) was free after 6pm and on weekends, as long as there are no games and events going on.

Enjoyed the Chicken and waffles. Made the mistake of ordering an extra waffle thinking i could order as a side. Paid for a Belgian waffle that ended up plain. May have been a miscommunication. Overall I enjoyed my meal and will definitely come back to try other menu options!!

This is a Chapel Hill institution. Though much has changed by way of expansion and "brightening up" the place, there is still the old cozy vibe that townies and uni families alike have enjoyed since 1922(I think it is).Our server was a lovely young lady that was able to offer recommendations and substitutions without hesitation and was very attentive, despite it being a very busy day.The coffee cocktails were amazing, as was the shrimp and grits. Our only slight complaint would be that the garlic parmesan fries were quite greasy and less salty than we would have liked, but that's really a matter of preference. The prices were steeper than I remembered, but I also hadn't been in there since there was a payphone in the foyer, and since there was a separate foyer for a payphone to be in...Dietary restrictions: They are happy to make substitutions and accommodations.
