Idk if it’s a “Franklin st” thing but the tropical smoothie cafe was just as disappointing and disgusting. The bathrooms were for customers only, still so gross, and it was INSANE to see a whole employee laying on the ice cream counter (like literally where they serve and chop the ice cream up) as if it were her bed at home. Customers in the store and all… even me making a small comment about her being on there didn’t matter. And the music they were playing was talkin’ about trappin and cursing like craaazy. My 2 year old was around and it was blasting. Just a little much for a family night out that I didn’t expect to have

Wanted to treat my significant other for old times sakes when we were in town but highly disappointed in the experience. We ordered two like it sizes: 1 mint mint chocolate chocolate chip and the chocolate peanut butter option. I definitely should have looked closer at the prices because I wasn’t expecting to spend $16 on two small ice creams but that wasn’t the reason I was disappointed. There were two employees behind the counter, one who made my partners and one who made mine. It was VERY obvious that the one who made mine did not want to be there and was quite rude taking my order, but also making the order. When she handed it to us half of it was dripping off the side of the cup— I had to ask my partner to make sure it didn’t fall on the floor and clean up the cup so I could hold it while I paid. My partners was prepared nicely. When I went to eat it there was so much peanut butter sauce in it that it overpowered every other flavor. I watched her pump it and thought wow that’s wayyyy more than the other ingredients but thought maybe that’s how it was supposed to be. It was gross. I ate it though because I paid $8 for it, but it ruined the experience. I will not be back. Also coldstone— I would tip the employees if it didn’t mean I was spending $20 for two scoops of ice cream. Maybe if your employees were accurately rewarded for their work they wouldn’t be rude to the customers. Just a thought.

A standard Cold Stone! Nothing particularly incredible here, but if you're looking for Cold Stone, this is definitely it. I prefer Ben & Jerry's, unfortunately, but it's close and it's ice cream. I was craving strawberry ice cream and our group stopped here. Since they mix in fresh-frozen strawberries chunks, I don't think that the strawberry ice cream is that great. I think Cold Stone's strong suit is their cream base and standard candy/chocolate mix-ins.

Ice cream is good and everything but they were telling people that they weren't taking orders anymore and the dining room would be closing soon at 9:35pm when their hours are til 10pm. It's not a full service restaurant where you need time to cook and have a kitchen close time. If an ice cream shop isn't taking orders and is discouraging people from even being in the store, then it isn't open and the hours are not right.

Ran into an issue where my card was charged twice and contacted customer support, but they were not able to help me. However when I reached out to the store they were able to refund me fully with no issues. Great store!

Very good customer service and ice-cream. I especially like the peanutbutter cup perfection!

Cool place on Franklin. No real parking. Nice employees but ice cream is very weird and gooey like. I don't know how to explain it,but it's really gooey and not ice cold. Just weird. We tried several different kinds and they all were a weird consistency. Would not go back again. Tried Cold stone years ago and it wasn't good then. It still wasn't. Wouldn't go back.

The ice cream is not that good. I went in the other day at about 9:40pm. Paid for my ice cream that cost around 6 dollars and left a 2 dollar cash tip. No receipt. Later I noticed that my bank charged me almost 10 bucks. I called the store which then lead me to the owner, after investigating they didn’t figured that the employee had accidentally added a tip. They did apologize, however maybe I underestimate how easy it is to add a tip on their register…

This coldstone location is amazing! I worked here all throughout college and enjoyed working with my coworkers and the owners! This is a family owned business that cares about their employees and their customers!

I gave Cold Stone Creamery another chance, but my rating of them went from 3 stars to 1. I ordered a birthday cake milkshake, but the person working there seemed like they didn't know how to make one. I'll give them credit for trying, but I'm not sure they should be working there. The milkshake tasted like a chocolate milkshake, and it was watery too. They made so much milkshake that I was given two small ones.Franklin Street gets more disappointing as the years go by. Either folks don't want to work or need to learn how to work. HELP!
