Burgers are big and very tasty. I tried a pizza, all meatza. This is a hand tossed dough style, thin crust. Plenty of toppings and evenly distributed. It's my second visit here (which I always do to make sure) and eill be including it in my culinary repertoire.

I ate at this restaurant when I was going through a hard time in my life. I was in my 20's and I was homeless at the time. The owner actually took the time to ask me my story since I was in there all the time. He never judged me for being homeless and his staff was always more than respectful and helpful to me. They always helped me out even if I was a little short occasionally. This restaurant is the best place I have ever eaten, and I have eaten all across the USA.

Lots of cool history. Tried to order a pork biscuit by itself and was told I had to order the combo. Wasn't that hungry so just got a cinnamon roll. Food looked good, bummer you can't order items A la Carte.Response to owner: thanks and it's no worries, I know mistakes happen as I also run a f/b establishment. Upgrading my review to reflect the quality response ??

I have been a longtime customer of this restaurant since becoming a student at UNC back in 2018. I’ve always enjoyed the food and service here, so it pains me to write this review. About two days ago, there was an incident where the cashier got very upset at me for getting my order wrong. I paid way more than I was supposed to and got someone else’s food instead. When I brought this up, they began to mutter sentences angrily in Spanish, unaware that I understand the language. It was pretty clear that no one remembered what I had ordered, which added to my confusion. I remained calm and tried to clarify the situation as best as possible. Eventually, I was able to get back some cash and my food as well. But this entire interaction just left a negative impression. It may be a while before I come back to eat here. I hope other customers can learn from my experience.

Time out always hits. Cinnamon Bun is top tier. The biscuits and the Mac and cheese are always good too. They unfortunately charge for drink refills though.

We take our health for granted. I was on Franklin Street yesterday and realized that a lot of businesses in Chapel Hill, NC is not handicapped friendly. It's a struggle to get doors opened when you have to be careful. Because you have to hold the door and maneuver the chair to get in. There are restaurants and bars that you would have to go down a flight of steps and no elevators.

Wandered in here because we got into town late and we were looking for a place to grab some dinner past midnight. Ended up with some great food. The Mac and cheese was delicious!

The highlight of this place is that it opens 25 hours. Their food is average.

I wanted soul food and this was not it. The chicken was salty not seasoned. The mac and cheese was boxed, it was horrible. The green beans are watery. My kids will eat almost any mac and cheese and they did not touch it. I do not recommend.

I took my friends to eat at Time out because I went the week before and really enjoyed it. The food has been really good both times, its pretty tasty and I would deff get take out for my next time. But This second time I went at a time when it wasn’t that busy, and the customer service was not the best. The owners were being rude to their employees, which made me feel a little uncomfortable. I also realized that I was charged for a regular drink when all I got was water, so make sure you look at your receipt and they’re not overcharging you when you purchase water.
