Could only be described as upscale if comparing to McDonald’s otherwise no better than your standard Texas Roadhouse.Food is great, well cooked and decent sized portions.Loud noisy bar so not good for a date night or if you want to talk and hear to your dining companions.Service is terrible, staff forget drink orders (there were only 2 of us), brought out main while we were still eating appetizer, got main wrong, ignored empty glasses and long wait to re order drinks. Our server suddenly appeared at our table and banged the desert menu down in front of him, mumbled what was on it and because we didn’t want anything disappeared as quickly as he’d arrived only to return a few seconds later with the bill - I guess we’re not ordering anymore drinks!Would not recommend

Stoney River came highly recommended, and is a wonderful place to spend an evening with friends! The enormous wine selection is showcased in the middle of the restaurant in a glass walled closet for our viewing pleasure. Each course is beautifully plated, and equally matched in taste. The steak was savory and tender. The fresh creamed spinach was so cheesy and flavorful. The carrot cake is densely rich, full of pecans and fresh carrots. It has a light creamy frosting drizzled with a light caramel sauce. The slice is large enough to share with two or three people! The dimly lit atmosphere is cozy and relaxing. My server, Geoff, is a perceptive listener and very knowledgeable. He suggested the perfect drink for my taste. Go enjoy an evening and do yourself a favor: make sure to ask for Geoff. Tell him Ginger sent you!!! You will not be disappointed.

Went here for my birthday and I had such a wonderful experience. Peyton gave us such great service and was really attentive to everything. The filet mignon trio was like melt in your mouth good. My favorite topping was the poivre. We also had the steak egg rolls, Mac n cheese, sweet potato, potato au gratin, chocolate cake and crème brûlée and they were all really good. The lighting and music are also perfect for a romantic date night. We’ll definitely be visiting again.

Perfect service, and amazing food. Must try the carrot cake, but fair warning you will need multiple mouths to eat it all lol.

You can't get a better meal for the price. The food is excellent. The drinks are on point. Stoney River has great ambiance and excellent service.

This restaurant has amazing potential. Perfect ambiance, great location, and excellent parking. We started off with decent service but unfortunately it changed at the midpoint of our visit. I asked the hostess to please seat us somewhere where it wasn't crowded and that wasn't too hard because it wasn't a busy time and only a few customers were there. With lots of tables in our section to select from, another hostess put a party of 9 almost right beside us. WHHHHY?!!! LOL! I've been a hostess and server so I understand sections. There were at least 5 ten top tables right there and they decided to seat this large party right next to us. Our server seemed to only pay attention to the large party and our service declined. The chicken biscuits were really delicious along with the creme brulee. The tortilla chips were slightly stale. The tuna stack didn't have much flavor. I would definitely get the chicken again and maybe try something else. Hopefully it was just an off day.

The food is amazing! I’m a steakhouse connoisseur. My bartender/servers CJ and Ethan were so attentive. I went in for my self-care Sunday meal and was NOT disappointed. Ethan suggested the deviled eggs and they were delicious and filling. It gave the deviled egg you want at a cookout mixed with density of potato salad. I give it a 5/5. I ordered a cowboy ribeye (definitely didn’t eat all) but it was cooked to medium perfection. CJ made the best lemon drop mojito I’ve ever had in life. I will definitely be returning. It’s so close to my house and exceeded my expectations. AWESOME EXPERIENCE

This place can boast of wonderful ambience, top class service and great food. We were there recently celebrating the birthday of my wife, and we are glad we chose this place. Everything right from the appetizers to the main course and of course the complimentary dessert was outstanding! We started off with the Steak Rolls and Devilled eggs. The Devilled eggs were pretty good but the Steak rolls were just too delicious. An absolute must have if you are here. For the mains, we tried Filet Mignon with Garlic Whipped potatoes, and Queen Cut of Prime Rib with Au gratin potatoes. It is a reputed steakhouse and of course the steaks are very good, and the potatoes are pretty great too! For dessert, we had Crème Brûlée, neatly presented with candles on top. This was delicious as well... Immensely satisfying experience! Definitely would love to go back for more!

We decided to eat at Stoney River on a Wednesday evening because they have happy hour prices on weekdays. The restaurant has very nice ambiance and has a classy look! Once seated we had a drink waiter take our order. I asked for a $5 Happy Hour Pernicious draft, a $6 Well Bourbon, that turned out to actually cost $7.25, and my wife ordered a $6 Happy Hour Chardonnay. Our dinner waiter came up to us and said that they were out of the Chardonnay that they sell for Happy Hour and we would have to pay full price ($12) for a glass of Chardonnay. We then asked him if he and his trainee would tell the manager that they should honor the Happy Hour price for a different Chardonnay. The manager came to our table and said that they would not honor the Happy Hour price so we were forced to pay full price. From that point on the waiter had attitude. He took our dinner order and we never saw him again until we were ready for dessert. When the dessert arrived he literally threw it on the table and turned his back. My Steak Frites was supposed to be medium well and it was beyond well. I did enjoy the mushrooms and fried Brussel sprouts. My wife’s NOLA Shrimp was very tasty. I don’t go to a restaurant like this to have a waiter be rude to me. The tip I left reflected his callousness.

Beautiful restaurant perfect for date night or celebration. Nice wine list, delicious steaks, wonderful appetizers. Didn’t save room for desserts but they looked beautiful. Reservations suggested as wait can be long on weekends. Our family will certainly be back.
Meh. Pretty unimpressed. Our server didn't really know the menu and when asked, said there were no daily specials when there were in fact several. The food was average. Our meals were served with items missing from the plate that we had to request and wait for. When we were there the A/C wasn't working (and apparently hadn't been for a while) so a massive portable unit was sitting in the corner of the dining area.

This restaurant's food is bad -- at least what I ordered. That's unfortunate because it has great ambiance and is decorated very nicely. I ordered lunch here (chicken salad sandwich and fries) and regretted it the rest of the day. The chicken salad was edible but the croissant it was on was cold and blah. The fries were inedible.
