Really really good milk tea! I come from Singapore and this is easily one of the best bubble teas I’ve had! I personally love Jasmine milk teas, and this place absolutely nailed it. It is great has milky, which I absolutely love. The drink is also not that pricey! I would highly recommend this place if you want good bubble tea in the Chapel Hill area.

Yaya tea is probably the best boba place on Franklin Street! The boba tastes amazing at a great price, and the atmosphere is very comforting. There is a lot of cute merch on display for sale. Yaya tea also sells food, and I have doordashed the rice balls multiple times. The rice balls taste amazing, and have cute packaging with adorable stickers I always save! The overall aesthetics are super cute, and it is very convenient ordering in store with the computerized machine or with the friendly workers. Highly recommend the Spam RB or making your own boba drink, as the drinks are very customizable!

I am a huge fan of boba, so I was very excited to come here and was pleasantly surprised! After some deliberation (the amazing workers at the front helped me to make a decision), I ordered the Jasmine Milk Tea and absolutely loved it. I do wish if there were more flavors for their milk tea, but I still was happy to come here and I really enjoyed my drink.

The fruit tea was not good at all. No flavor whatsoever. Complete waste of money. Will not go back. This was my first time there and there was no one around to provide any assistance with the menu.

It honestly does not even deserve 1 star. I’ve been going to moge tea and thought I’ll try yaya. The staff gave death stares to all customers and took 35 mins from waiting for the guy to take an order to getting my drink.Avoid at all costs!!

The chicken rice balls/onagari are soooo good. My daughters are obsessed with the onagari and tea. But I’m obsessed with the onagari too so sometimes I sneak and get some by myself and eat it in my car. Definitely worth it ?
Kid-friendliness: They staff treat kids with all ages with the same customer service they do an adult. My 10 year old can go in and order by herself and come out feeling delighted and treated well.

The restaurant is clean, and you order via kiosk. Our food was awesome. First time I had takoyaki there and I wasn't disappointed. They got a selection of super cute plushies.

SO SLOW. I order rice ball pick up three times here, and every time I have to wait for almost thirty minutes for my food to be ready. There's one time that the person simply forgot to make my order. Boba overpriced as well (you can find better boba at a better price either at Moge or at Tea Hill on Fr. St).

came here for the first time the other night and it will absolutely be the last. the person who greeted us (didn’t catch a name but he was tall with face piercings and curly hair) was rude and acted like he couldn’t be bothered to do his job. i watched an employee grab dirty dishes to make my drink and completely lost my appetite. in general the staff was just rude and inattentive and the restaurant was filthy. do not recommend at all

They routinely do it have my order ready for pick up after I get a message saying it’s ready. Missing items frequently as well. Waited over an hour today for two

they played frank ocean. nice
Ordered three small rice balls (edamame, spare rib, ginger chicken) and tofu fries for two people. Very filling and a unique food. Order at a kiosk and pick up at the window. Has indoor seating and paid street parking.
Not bad. Tried the onigiri. Would prefer a filling-to-rice ratio that's a little more balanced but that may just be how onigiri is. I don't have a point of comparison. I do like that there's more than one vegan option. Boba tea was okay.
I got a taro milk tea and it was decent. Tapioca was a little too hard for me. I also liked the assam milk tea. Price was okay, and a small was the perfect size for me. Would love to come back and try their rice balls some time.Design on the cup is super cute!
