Maybe I expected more, but it was just not all thar good. The waiter was great, but that about all I have on this. Super disappointed.

Alex was our server and he was outstanding! He provided excellent service and I consider him one of the best servers I have experienced in my years of eating at fine establishments. Sadly, I learned BLT is shutting its doors permanently at the Ritz Carlton Hotel Charlotte by the end of 2023. This is a shame as I have eaten at that restaurant since 2013.

BLT has been a joy to visit. The bartenders Chris B and Michael R are always amazing and give excellent service. I 100% recommend their bacon with chimichurri and any cocktail they make for you.

Cold food. Bartenders seemed to have just given up. Not rude but just not anything. Blah. Not the experience expected

I rarely ever leave reviews but I can’t help myself this time. Had our company holiday dinner here tonight, and it was our first time dining here and we were all disappointed by the service. Felt rushed and unwelcome. I have worked in fine dining restaurants for 10 years, and this did not feel like such (I know there are no table cloths but we figured since it’s at the Ritz that it would be a nice dinner), Eddie V’s has better timing with their courses and better service, that says a lot. Our server assistant was the only person that didn’t seem mad to be working. We were in no rush, ordered cocktails and apps and then a bottle of wine, which the server told us the price of without us even asking in a weird condescending way (we had originally ordered a glass of it and decided on the bottle for the table). The server didn’t pour us a taste of the bottle and didn’t make sure to give the person that was already drinking that wine had a matching clean glass either. He also didn’t leave the bottle on the table and instead put it by the server station, which I have never in my life seen. Spicy Paloma was super sweet, which Palomas aren’t supposed to be super sweet, since they’re made from grapefruit, but moving on. Our salads came out and they were trying to take our almost untouched apps from the table without asking. Entrees came out and we were missing silverware. The food was overall good, except one of the steaks came out overcooked, we didn’t make a fuss, but a ribeye cooked anything over medium is practically ruined. When we ordered dessert, they brought out the peanut-butter cake instead of the toffee pudding that I ordered and then when I asked if I had received the correct dessert, the server said “no, but I can bring out the toffee pudding if you’d like.” Once we asked for the check, he brought out the correct dessert and told us that the toffee pudding isn’t being served anymore and that they had found that one in the back of the cooler. Definitely felt like a back of the cooler toffee pudding. He never once mentioned that it wasn’t being served while we were looking at the menu. The restaurant was not busy, which if it had been, I would understand, but the whole experience was awkward and we definitely won’t be returning.

I ordered the ribeye to go and when I got it home, it wasn’t worth the $70.00 that I paid for it, mostly because it was very overcooked and had A LOT of fat. Maybe it was because I ordered it to go, most restaurants don’t seem to put a lot of care into how food goes out the door. It was really disappointing, seeing how they’re an elite steakhouse chain. I was so very excited to have a good, expensive steak, only to be left flat. So with that being said, Del Frisco’s Double Eagle still has my vote as the top steakhouse in Charlotte. I’ve dined in, and ordered to go with the same quality each and every time.

Food was great, but they were out of a couple of their staple dishes - the skirt steak and the Dover sole. We had a group of 10 so half of us had to change our orders. That was disappointing.

We celebrated our anniversary here and we're greeted with complimentary champagne for the occasion. I ordered a skirt steak, which unfortunately the chef was out of that night. However, the filet I received and the porter house my husband ordered were perfectly cooked and melted in our mouths. We also ordered the jalapeno mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts which were so fresh and tasty! Sides are large enough to be shareable. The real surprise was the popovers we received prior to our meal-so light and airy with a wonderful crispy crust! And they give you the recipe with it! Perfect place for a celebratory dinner if you're willing to pay for quality food.

My husband and I were absolutely delighted with our experience at this restaurant!! Not only was the food absolutely delicious from start to finish, but the service was also amazing. Our server, David, was very attentive, personable and professional. We were very impressed with the quality of the restaurant, the atmosphere and the service! It was a lovely experience and we will definitely be back!

The steak was good, but was served luke warm. Quality not as good as other local steakhouses, but better than some. Price was more reasonable than STK. BBQ Corn was a good side, recommended by bartender. If the food was hot, I may have given it another star.

The service was fine but not what you would expect from a higher end steak restaurant at a luxury hotel. The ambiance is more like a three meal hotel restaurant and the food generally not very good. The NY strip was undercooked and grainy and popovers raw.

The server refused to wish me/say “happy birthday” even though she was informed and reminded several times . . . Once by the host, again by my family and it was also in the online reservation. She never even said anything when dropping off the check, never even so much as a thanks for coming in, happy holidays, come see us again, have a great night or even goodbye. She was extremely cold, standoffish and abrasive. I've never been so neglected and personally disrespected in my life - seeing that it was my birthday dinner. you can be certain that neither me nor my friends and family will ever be back. They fell pretty low below our expectations especially considering it was inside the “ritz Carlton”
