Fantastic food, well portioned, and for a good price. Had their steak, grilled chicken, and mashed potatoes and were absolutely blown away. Will amazing food at these prices we are definitely having them cater for our wedding.

A friend invited me to lunch at Brown Bag and I was pretty impressed.The parking is up a ramp and in the lot beside a bank. There were a few spots open when I got there. No issues.The atmosphere is not a big deal here. Fairly simple.The service - man who took our order was super friendly and cheerful. Two pats on the back.The food - at first I thought it was a bit expensive for lunch. The name brown bag made me think it would be mostly sandwiches. However, it was very fresh and hearty - well worth the price. The servings were very generous. Look at all of that meat!I got the teriyaki chicken with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Super delicious!The purpose - had to look up what the purpose is that is their tag line. They provide meals for sick or shut in people if ordered 24 hours in advance. Amazing mission and heart to serve others well. I love that!
The food here is consistently prepared very well, but I wish things were generally slightly MORE seasoned. The best way I can summarize the food here is: "Fairly normal things, prepared very well."If the owner is reading this, I suggest:1) Try adding bits of pecan to the Berry Slaw2) Make the Jalapeno Corn Casserole about 20% more spicey.But in general, this place is great. I have eaten here before, and will again in the future.
