5 course wine pairing special event top notch. Started with a Graham brut NV sparkling. App a trio of salmon croquettes with a side arugula salad and a nice Vouvray. Followed with a beef tartar and a nice chenin blanc. Main was a well prepared juicy chicken airline breast with a nice tomatoe reduction over a garbanzo/chorizo and red blend accompaniment. The Foundry is a very clean, fresh feeling place. It does take reservations. I usually like to sit at bar and enjoy meeting people. The food is presented quite nicely. This is open to the public but may not be as the number of residents grow.
Had to bring my brother and sister in law here as he lives in Charleston and enjoys the restaurants in his area. They both loved the Foundry and who wouldn’t. We are always treated so well here whether it be Nina the GM, the wait staff or the wonderful people that live in the 55+ community. Always a great meal here with a feeling of friendship too.
