OK, so I try to support black owned businesses. I was in town this weekend visiting UNC Chapel Hill with my son. Ordered pick up from this restaurant. Breakfast. Again, I say breakfast. Most breakfast items require butter. They bring up my food and tell me I'm sorry we're out of butter. How in the world can you be out of butter? You're a freaking restaurant. Delicious breakfast food for the soul. We had the waffle combo and an omelette with potatoes. We loved it and can't wait to try the rest of the menu. Oh, and everyone was so friendly at pick up!

We've driven by this strip mall plenty of times but finally decided to stop by Nzinga's after watching a local video about the chef/owner. We came on a Saturday morning after our usual run to the Durham Farmers Market. Their menu is not huge but there's enough variety. I think they're also only open a few days a week, so make sure you check first.
