One of the best value spots in the triangle. The empanadas are extremely good and cheap as hell, and the salsa is unique and incredible.

Food is good but was there this week and no one working there was wearing a mask. When asked if they were wearing a mask in the kitchen, I was told they were standing 6 feet apart:(((

Had to try Sarah's empanadas after the shout out on Vivian Howard's new show Somewhere South! Tried today...and so glad we did! Ordered online and the food was delivered curbside when we got there! We tried several different empanadas...all were delicious! Chicken and cheese, shrimp and grits, spicy chorizo...my favorites were the spinach, chicken and mushrooms and the mush room and cheese! The plantains were a great addition...but what will get us back...probably tomorrow were the Apple empanada and churros! Wow! Great find!!!

The new owner/manager has the most unwelcoming attitude I've experienced at any restaurant. Horrible personality for a hospitality establishment.

I wish I could review the food. I can't because no one ever took our order. We sat with menus in front of us and sat and sat. The table next to us was served and we thought, "Finally!" Nope. Without making eye contact, the server turned and started clearing another table. Mind you, there were other empty tables and no one was waiting for it. We left. The End

Most Empanada restaurants are incredibly underwhelming in the amount of food you get (little wimpy empanadas). Sarah's knows how to load up larger empanadas with tasty and simple ingredients for a comfort food-esque meal. I've thoroughly enjoyed my lunches here each time. Great service also!

i loved sarah's empanadas that i bought some to take home after our meal. the cheese was definitely a winner even though i'm usually a meat kind of guy. it seems kind of expensive and maybe not enough to fill but it's worth it and i think i can eat 3-4. i love their salsa and made it super yummy so when you take it to go don't forget the salsa!!! but i recommend to eat there so that you can eat it while it's fresh and hot!

I'm not sure how this place has so many good ratings. The rice was watery and over cooked. The empanadas exterior was very dry and tasteless. The meat was bland, flavorless, dry and devoid of any happiness. I went to a Latin American place in NYC and they do not water down their food like this. This was so disappointing. Even the food at the food court tastes better.
