I lifted up the cushions of the pull out couch and there was trash and crumbs all under there that has obviously been there for a while. I ended up getting severe food poisoning from the scrambled “eggs” from breakfast. Probably my own fault, but whatever they used was cheap and inedible.

Room had nice sitting area, with desk and chair. It had a trundle bed which can be converted to sleeper for two - I would think suitable for kids.

We spoke with the sales director about using rooms for different events. So far we have not been disappointed. The conference rooms are quite spacious and they have space for snacks and a small refrigerator. If we need rooms for overnight guests, they are very clean and spacious.Nearby activities: The hotel is located between Durham and Chapel Hill and is not too far from downtown so there is plenty to keep you entertained.Walkability: There is plenty of shopping and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.Noteworthy details: The hotel has a bar for people wanting to have a drink or just socialize.

Here Monday-Friday for work. I’ve taken ONE hot shower. Other than that. No complaints. Friendly staff and quiet place to stay. Just don’t try and shower at 7am.
I would never stay here at this hotel again. Between the customer service at check-in, difficulty parking, and cold showers this was my worst hotel experience ever. Hotel is located inside a shopping center. So you are constantly fighting for parking with shopping customers. Ran the water for 20 minutes to get a lukewarm shower. Rooms are nice. But definitely not worth what you're paying for. Especially with all the other faults.

Great breakfast, nice room, perfect location.Rooms: This hotel is in a very convenient location close to many great restaurants, shopping, etc… Service has been okay. Some of the staff acts like they wish they were not here but overall they seem polite enough. My biggest complaint would be the lighting in the bathroom. I have bad vision anyway but the light at the mirror is less than adequate for a female to apply makeup. The room is spacious and nice.

Fantastic value for the money. Clean rooms, and incredibly friendly staff - the front desk, the room service, and breakfast staff. Also super friendly. For the price, which includes breakfast, it can't be beat. Location is clearly not walkable to downtown durham or chapel hill, but for our needs (visiting family over christmas on the outskirts of town), it was fantastic. I will state that SpringHill has really strange bathroom layouts - thats the reason for my 4 star on Rooms. It was clean and everything else was great, but the bathroom layout was odd.
