True hidden gem! Area is ran down but you can beat the taste. I tried the cubana torta and some chicken pupusas, absolutely delicious. Glad I stopped here, thanks guys!

The torta I had here is, by far the greatest sandwich I've ever had. Absolutely delicious! Definitely coming back for more!

This place feels like home. Tucked into the old Deli section of a grocery store, it’s got a clean kitchen, plants hung all over the place (don’t touch!) and a simple menu. Contrary to other reviews, they accept Card and the food came out quick. Coming from Texas I’ve struggled to find good Mexican food here in Durham as gentrified options keep showing up with b.s. but Gaby and Eva brought me right back home.I ordered the Chicken Torta, which was a chicken fried cutlet on a huge bun with fresh ingredients, mayo, Oaxaca cheese, and avocado. They had a bag with these juicy peppers and the meal included a bold salsa verde. For 11$ you get a huge Torta that tastes and feels like it was made in a home kitchen, with fresh ingredients and bold flavors. Try finding something with Avocado on it for that price! I’ll definitely go back.

The food was super authentic. We had tacos and a torta. I like their fresh beverages I had melon it was delicious. I also really enjoyed the fact that they had a little bar area where you put your onions and cilantro and salsa, self served. That way you control how much you put in it. I believe it was cash only.La comida fue Super auténtica. Aunque fue un poco caro cada taco costó $3.50.
Nice meats in our tacos with a lot of flavor, but didn't offer any toppings like onion or cilantro. Also no hot sauce to be found.
3 stars because the place is very cold due to the proximity to the refrigerators, otherwise the food is decent.

(Translated by Google) Very tasty and very well made Mexican food, pancita, quesadillas, tacos and also very tasty popusas, it is a little cold due to the proximity to the refrigerators but it is acceptable.(Original)comida mexicana muy sabrosa y muy bien hecha, pancita, quesadillas, tacos y además popusas muy ricas, hace un poco de frío por la cercanía con los refrigeradores pero es aceptable.
They say it's a Mexican restaurantBut for me it is a very Mexican fondita since all the food is made by hand ❤️? nothing like a Mexican restaurant you can't find most food in a Mexican restaurant (because they all sell the same thing) here there is a lot of variety ??
